We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Please do more laps. You need between 30 to 50 to really see how you're doing. Our trainers are here to help whenever. Good luck and have fun out there!
Extra - You missed the mark on your braking point here. Try to find a consistent reference marker earlier and work your way back up. Example

Thanks for you patience in us getting this latest assessment to you. We have now caught up with the backlog from the Christmas holiday break and are looking forward to providing you more tips and feedback on your driving. We'll be starting to experiment with a few new training features for our users over the coming months. With the aim to pinpoint and tackle areas that are causing your issues with a higher degree of accuracy and clarify.
Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪

There are virtually no chicanes to assess. Please repeat this training and hopefully we'll be back on track. The lap times are off at the moment, so we'll look at this again at the next assessment.

There is little data to work with this week, try to perform more laps on tracks with distinct chicanes. In the laps this week your racing line is out, try to make this smoother and your choice of gear needs to be looked at.
Extra - Make sure you use all the width on entry on the majority of corners, use the width so that you can create as shallow a corner curve as possible - example

There are multiple types of chicane and it is important to show your ability on a few different tracks as there are very few laps driven here. It is important that mid chicane you managed to put the gas down a bit as well before preparing for the exit. More work required and try to mix it up with a few different chicane options. Imola and Monza are a couple of good tracks to test different chicanes. You need to work on your mid chicane, try not to lift too much. Instead of fully coming off the throttle just lifting 50% is a good test to practice. Finally work on smooth wheel motions instead of turning the wheel far too much in corners.
Extra - Avoid heavy braking on these fast segments, just a small gentle dab might be enough and will avoid the car slowing down too much - example

Please drive a few tracks that have chicanes so that we can perform an assessment of your chicane work. Zolder and Imola are great tracks to practice your chicanes. There is a good mixture of fast and slow chicanes to test yourself on.

A very close pass. There were some good points, your braking points were good, most of the time on point, however you need to work on your consistency. Racing line is good. Make sure that you stay tight to the apex on your cornering and test if you can use the kerb to really get the most out of the track.
Extra - Your throttle is never going under 10% pressure. This means that when you are braking you are always pushing power as well. This might be fixed in game settings otherwise you'll need to look at the actual pedal and see if there is a reason why it isn't allowing 0% pressure.

Many good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you were choosing your gears very well just a few times were you getting into too low a gear. These corners were often significantly slower than the others.
So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!

Strong, powerful braking most of the time. Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily. You sometimes ease off the brake from about 90%, try to keep that pressure constant all the way to 100% then and only then come off the brake. Also don't rest on the brake until you are fully committed to your braking point.
Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

Your racing line is great but you could still get closer to the apex on a few corners. Really test the limits of the car and how it'll handles on the apex kerb. Most importantly is increasing the number of laps driven. Racing requires the driver to put in a lot of track time. Learning the track, looking for improvements, finding the best line and repeating so that all the small errors and mistakes become less and less over time.
----------------------
10/01/2023
Well done. Some segments were very good, a little inconsistent but a good foundation now. Also, keep a close eye on segments where no braking at all is required. Sometimes you are lifting off the brake when not necessary.
Enjoy your apex work and don't be afraid to test the entry-apex-exit kerbs!

The telemetry data is very limited, please contact keith@tracktitan.io to get this sorted. If you are using broadcast mode, try turning it off and entering the IP address of the device where the logger is installed and ensure you are have a internet service where there is enough bandwidth. i.e. avoid lots of other people are streaming on the same network.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Each week you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls each week and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, each week you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, on this day you'll be able to see your feedback from the instructors, your score for the assigned task and your progress.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next seven days. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed throughout the week. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know.
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
