We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. There were a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra -
You are lifting off the throttle too much, causing your acceleration to be slower than optimal and costing you a bit of time as a result. Try releasing the throttle a bit less so you can carry a quicker acceleration through the esses, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Good corner gear choices. Sometimes you are one gear higher than the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control dropping one gear lower. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....

You are not using the brakes to its best effect, you are braking too early and lightly, and there is time lost doing this. Try braking at a later point with more pressure, so you can carry more speed under braking but also to slow down that extra speed more efficiently, gaining you more time overall as a result. - Example

Great lap times again. You are producing exciting results. Your braking is very good, a huge improvement in comparison to your first braking assessment. There are sometimes when you are braking a little early. One small point to note though, is that when you do need to brake to 100% you have room to do so a little more quickly. Make sure you take that power through to 100% instead of slowing the velocity of the brake pedal. It is important to note that this is on the engaging braking section not when you are starting to trail brake. Enjoy your next training session, this should be straight forward for you but remember to study the telemetry to find any flaws.
Extra -
You are braking a bit early, causing your speed to be lower than optimal on corner entry, costing you time as a result before even reaching the apex. Try braking at a later point so you can gain more time just by carrying more speed under braking before corner entry. - Example

Your racing line is spot on, well done. We will move onto the next assignment now. Not much to comment on here! Best of luck and have fun!

Currently, your minimum corner speeds are a little lower than the reference lap. You can find some more time by releasing the brakes a tiny bit faster (example), which will keep your speed a little higher at the apex and should fine you a tenth or two a lap. You're very close to the top times so now we need to find the small adjustments to be made which will find you that last 0.5-1s of lap time!

You're doing really well, although there were a couple of instances where you just missed the mark. No worries though, it happens to the best of us! Something to keep in mind is that sometimes there are segments of the track where you don't need to brake at all. In those instances, simply lifting off the throttle can be enough to help you retain your speed and maintain control. Enjoy your apex work and don't be afraid to test the entry-apex-exit kerbs!
Extra -
You are braking too late into some of the braking zones, causing you to overshoot the corner by carrying too much speed, and lose time on the exit due to a lower exit speed than optimal. Try braking a bit earlier, especially in the heavier braking zones, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed and be able to get back on throttle earlier. - Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
