Improve consistency and close the two second gap to the other league drivers.

Great first session, we can see a number of areas that can be improved. The times you are getting are really good, check the assigned tasks for suggestions of consistency practice.
There are two separate assignments this week. First, drive 5 laps at a slightly slower pace but make sure that you keep each valid lap to within 0.5 seconds. Only when you have managed to achieve this should be try to increase your speed again. Your consistency actually is good across a whole lap, as can be seen by your theoretical best time which is great. Remember even if you don't like hot lapping, getting that pole position feels great and getting the lap times down comes with this practice.
Secondly, practicing using the full width of the track. Test those kerbs and make the track as wide as possible. Currently you are not using the full width on your exit which is slowing you down a bit. Get a good feel how the car reacts to different kerbs and there is a good chance in a race situation you'll be on them at some point.

A good mistake to make since it's easy to fix! You simply need to find a slightly later braking point to maximize your lap time potential.
With approximately 26% of all of your mistakes being this one, it is still a very common mistake and easily fixed with more practice and lap consistency.
Look at where you brake on segment 4, as a whole, the corner is well handled. There are a number of factors that cost you a couple of tenths but mainly it is the braking point and the mistake shown below.
It can be a fine balance between too early and too late on the brakes. Sometimes, depending on the corner, 5cms difference in braking point can lose you a tenth of a second. Even though you got on the brakes earlier than the reference lap, they managed to get to full throttle more aggressively and quicker than your first half of the corner.

Full throttle is where the speed is. As long as you have control, the general aim is to get to full throttle as quickly as possible.
With 22% of all of your mistakes being this one, there is work to be done here.
Segment 9 is a good example of how you apply your throttle. Trusting your car will help to attain the throttle curve that the reference lap is able to achieve.
Take a moment to watch one of our videos that emphasises the need to get to full throttle quickly. Think smooth but fast, on / off the throttle will nearly always be slower than quick and smooth.

As you brake through the corner and then turn your thoughts to the exit, there is a tendency to feel the lower gear will give you a faster exit. This can be counterproductive when pushing the upper limits of the engine
9% of your errors are from too low a gear.
Segment 2 shows how using 4th gear loses you a little speed on the corner exit but more importantly the fast section afterwards is compromised.
If the car is feeling sluggish or is revving too high, this is a good indication that you are in too low a gear. If you feel this might be the case, start a new session and drive two laps, first in the suspected wrong gear and then one gear higher. Check out your live delta, it'll give you your answer.
