Improve race technique.

Great to get started. Just a little off the pace at the moment but the telemetry is telling us a number of things that will really help get those lap times down.
Consistency is the key area to work on. This really means, hitting the same braking point and trying to repeat the same motion on each lap. The best way to get started is to slow down a little. Drive at 90%, i.e. not overly aggressive and the aim is to complete 5 laps within 1.5 seconds of each other. Then you can take the consistency in two directions. Either speed up and keep the same 1.5 seconds or try to get that 1.5 seconds down to 1 second. If you fail in the next 5 laps then slow down or raise the time gap a little.

You often reduce your corner speed more than you have to by taying on the brakes for too long. If this is to affect the car's balance, please apply way less pressure.
20% of the mistakes this week were due to staying on the brakes for too long
An example can be found in segment 2. You'll see that you remain on the brakes significantly longer than the reference lap.
Trail braking is good but make sure to not let it reduce your speed too much by doing it right

This is to do with your ability to quickly accelerate out of the corner. With the ultimate aim of getting to 100% throttle as quickly as possible
15% of your mistakes arise from being too late to full throttle
Segment 5 is a good example of how you apply your throttle. Generally this was very good it was just at the last part you didn't push hard enough.
Take a moment to watch one of our videos that emphasises the need to get to full throttle quickly. Think smooth but fast, on /off the throttle will nearly always be slower than quick and smooth.

Braking too early will mean that the car is slowing down sooner than necessary. This is often the No.1 reason why a lap time is off pace.
With approximately 15% of all of your mistakes being this one, it is a very common mistake and easily fixed with more practice and lap consistency.
A good example can be found in segment 5. You are braking too early, test the limits of the car by adjusting your braking point. This early braking is costing you two tenths in your lap time. Obviously if this is on multiple corners then it quickly adds up.
Drive 3-5 laps, check your analysis then write down each segment where you are braking too early. Try to concentrate on these corners by adjusting your braking point. Remember brake straight then turn in with trail braking.
