Christian Agape - Race Plan No. 6

Conclusion
You have driven very nicely, and there are very few places where you lose any significant time. These are all issues that can be fixed, so very well driven overall.

Set Up Advice
I can't see anything particularly wrong with your setup, aside from a slight lack of front downforce hindering your turn in grip, as seen in segment 6.

Segment 1

☐ This segment is driven flat out.

Segment 2

☐ Your braking is very nicely done, although it begins ever so slightly earlier than the reference lap. This seems like where most of your time is lost, although your throttle on exit is also slightly delayed when compared to the reference lap. Try to release the accelerator quicker and brake harder on entry, but get back on the throttle slightly sooner on exit. This will also help you around Curva Grande.

Segment 3

☐ This segment is driven flat out.

Segment 4

☐ Similarly to turn 1, you brake slightly sooner but you release your accelerator later. This could indicate that with a quicker release, you could brake later than the reference lap. This is again where most of the time is lost, so make sure you can release the throttle as soon as you can to help your braking.

Segment 5

☐ You have actually driven this segment better than the reference lap, well done. You could possible afford to take a slightly wider line on entry and exit to fully maximise the width of the track.

Segment 6

☐ Your don't brake as much as the reference lap, which initially gives you a small advantage. However, it creates a small amount of understeer which pushes you wide on exit, compromising your run onto the back straight. Try to slow a little more to help you turn in and help you accelerate away down the next straight.

Segment 7

☐ This segment is driven flat out.

Segment 8

☐ You brake better than the reference lap here, with a slight advantage up until the first apex. After that, the reference lap hugs the second apex much more, and this helps with their acceleration. You can try and replicate this, and it will also help gain time during the next long straight.

Segment 9

☐ This segment is driven flat out.

Segment 10

☐ Your throttle application seems to be where you lose the most time. You apply it at the right time, but you don't accelerate quite as fast as the reference lap. For a corner like this, you have to trust that the car will give you the grip you need on exit, so aim to push as far as you can on exit.
