Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly quicker than optimal, costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking with less brake pressure so you can carry more speed into the corner, gaining you more time overall due to maintaining a higher minimum speed through the corner. - Example

Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Also try to be quicker getting on the throttle on the exits (not just in chicanes). Remember gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.
Extra -
You are releasing the throttle on the straight, which ends up costing you free laptime unnecessarily as a result of this, causing your speed to be lower than the reference lap before the braking point. Try and remain using full throttle until you have to brake, to avoid losing time and maintain a higher top speed approaching the corner. - Example

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited, and the majority of the racing skills learned have been displayed across multiple segments. There are some areas where improvements are needed, which will lower your lap times. Firstly, work on refining your cornering techniques. Mastering this will significantly benefit your overall performance. Secondly, there are several instances where your gear choice could be improved. Learning truly comes from driving, analysing, and then driving again until you feel you've reached a plateau, then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible
Extra -
You are too slow getting back on throttle on corner exits, causing your exit speed to be compromised and costing you a bit of time as a result. Try get on throttle earlier so you can carry a higher acceleration on exit, which will also follow for the next corner, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure in the fast corners, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costs you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking with less pressure so you can carry more speed and gain more time overall due to maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example
----------------------

Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra -
You are braking too early with a lot of pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal too early. As a result, you end up releasing the brakes and applying it again in an attempt to carry more speed into the corner, which is losing you time rather than gaining you time. Try adjusting to a later braking point so you can gain more time just by carrying more speed under braking. This will also help prevent releasing the brakes and applying it to carry speed under braking, as a later braking point will carry extra speed for you already. - Example

Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra -
You are taking too much of a shallow line on the entry to some corners, costing you time as you are unable to carry the same speed through the corner as optimal at the apex. Try opening the corner more, starting more on the outside, which will allow you to maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner, gaining you more time overall. - Example

You're doing really well, although there were a couple of instances where you just missed the mark. No worries though, it happens to the best of us! Something to keep in mind is that sometimes there are segments of the track where you don't need to brake at all. In those instances, simply lifting off the throttle can be enough to help you retain your speed and maintain control. Enjoy your apex work and don't be afraid to test the entry-apex-exit kerbs!
Extra -
You are often braking lightly initially, with the final bit of braking being where you brake with the most pressure, which is costing you time rather than gaining you time. The best way to take a lot of corners is slow in, fast out. Try brake with the most pressure in the beginning, rather than the end. This way you can slow the car down more efficiently, and let you carry more speed at the apex as you ease off the brakes. Finally, it allows you to get back on throttle earlier. - Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
