We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).

The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Could you please drive more laps? It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready. Just a few more laps, and we'll be able to make a proper assessment. Good luck and have fun on track!

Here at Lime Rock, both T1 and T2 are double apex corners. So the best racing line should be braking late, apexing early but keep braking here, gradually releasing the pedal, then letting the car run a bit wide at the mid-corner phase and you should be off the brakes here. Rotate the car to aim towards the inside of the corner once more so you can accelerate, hit the second apex and you're off to a fast exit.
This is often the best racing line through these two corners, even though you stay closer to the inside between the apexes on segment 2. Also, don't forget to avoid exiting T2 too wide, so you can open the entry on the right hander that follows the double apex left-hand corner.
Keep up the good work and try these different lines to see how they affect your lap times.

Please do more laps. You need between 30 to 50 to really see how you're doing. Our trainers are here to help whenever. Good luck and have fun out there!

Could you please drive more laps? We need about 30 to 50 to get a read of how you are doing, even if you are not driving as part of a specific plan. The instructors are here to help whenever you're ready. Good luck, and hope you have a good time on the track!

Extra - Here you go too wide in the first part of the complex. This makes the final right much tighter and means you cannot accelerate out early enough. You lose time from this mistake. Compromise in corner complexes is key to the best overall time. Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.

Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.

We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.

Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.

The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.

If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"

Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.

Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
