17/03/2026 - 31/03/2026 - 20/08/2026
We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).

The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Hi, apologies for the delay. Currently, there are too many mistakes in your driving. There were some good segments, but too often you were wide at the apex or too slow to get on throttle. Give this assignment another go and don't forget to check back with the reference lap to see where you can improve. Good luck and have fun!

Extra -

Have a look at your steering inputs. Often, you are turning the wheel too much. Try to reduce your inputs by 20-30 degrees to avoid understeer. Understeer is when the front tyres lose grip before the rear tyres, which results in the car steering less than optimal. This can cause the tyres to wear faster and increase tyre temps (making the tyre too hot), you'll also have to go slower through corners to make it around. - example

Could you please run more laps? We need about 30 to 50 to make sure we're getting it right. The instructors are here to help whenever you're ready. Good luck, and hope you have a good time on the track!

Extra -

Please drive longer sessions. Aim for at least 10 laps per session to get a proper review, otherwise we cannot see your best efforts.

----------------------

03/02/2026
Overall performance in this assessment did not meet the required standard to progress to the next training plan. There were inconsistencies across the lap that affected your overall pace and control. While some sections showed potential, the combination of skills needs further refinement to reach the necessary consistency. Keep practicing with focused sessions, review your telemetry for patterns, and build toward greater reliability lap after lap. With continued effort, you'll be ready to advance soon.

Extra -

Try to be less erratic with the throttle, smaller motions will help. This is tricky but when you ease off the throttle, you often take the throttle to 20-30% pressure. Try to use smaller movements to avoid slowing the car too much. Example

Could you please drive more laps? We need about 30 to 50 to get a read of how you are doing, even if you are not driving as part of a specific plan. The instructors are here to help whenever you're ready. Good luck, and hope you have a good time on the track!

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.

Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....

Extra - Here you are staying on throttle into the braking zones. This is working against the brakes to slow you down. This is not the fastest way. You should aim to smoothly transition from throttle to braking. Example

----------------------

25/11/2025
Great job. Your braking and accelerating is looking really good. Keep it up! Have a look at where the refrence lap gets on throttle, in the fast corners you are quite often getting on power too late, which costs you time.

Extra - Keep an eye on your brake pressure, you are often using more pressure than the reference lap and going slower through the corners because of it.
Your braking points are great, but try using 5-10% less brake pressure to find some time. - example

----------------------

11/11/2025
Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.

Extra - Avoid hitting the brake pedal multiple times in one braking zone. Ideally you want to hit it firmly to begin with and then ease off as things slow down. Hitting it more than once suggests you broke too early. Example

----------------------

28/10/2025
Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress.  Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

Extra - You're sacrificing potential speed in the middle of turns by not cutting the apex as sharply as possible. Maximise the track's width on entry, at the apex, and on exit when the car is under control and stable. Example

----------------------

15/10/2025
Cheers for the laps. In general you are braking too early in most corners. However, despite this there are times where you still go wide in the corner by being too fast at the apex. This is because you do not always use the full potential of the brakes early on to slow the car when it has the most downforce. Try some more laps and compare yourself to the reference. The braking is the key as all other aspects will branch off this if you get into the right place on corner entry and everything else will improve with it.

Extra - Try to be less erratic with the throttle, smaller motions will help. This is tricky but when you ease off the throttle, you often take the throttle to 20-30% pressure. Try to use smaller movements to avoid slowing the car too much. Example

----------------------

01/10/2025
You had some good segments, but your telemetry shows that you might sill be a bit unsure of when you need to brake. Practice trying to be consistent. This is best done by driving a little slower than your maximum. Remember your braking points and try to repeat for 3 laps in a row, always trying to be within a second and a half of the lap before. Only when you achieve this try going a little faster. Repeat this process for many laps but don't forget to check the reference lap to make sure you aren't making any big mistakes and that you're choosing good braking references.

Brake hard and fast, never rest your foot on the brake before committing to the braking point.

Good luck and I'm sure with enough laps and the advice above you'll be passing this driving skill.

Extra - There are quite a few segments where instead of braking, you're just lifting off the throttle quite early. Often times it's important to explore all possibilities when you're learning a track or a specific segment and this example is one of those cases. Checking your telemetry can be very helpful in those instances. This one is a bit complicated because you're already approaching the corner slightly slower than the reference lap, but not slow enough so you won't need to use the brakes. Try to be consistent in the previous corner and lap by lap try to lift off later and later and progressively brake just a bit harder. Analyse the reference lap to find a good brake marker too, that's really important.
With situations like this one, you'll gain experience and will be able to identify similar corners in other tracks. Good luck!

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.

Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.

We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.

Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.

The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.

If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"

Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.

Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
