Your racing lines aren't taking full advantage of the track. Stay wide on the entry, don't drift towards the apex, wait for your turn in point then eyeball the apex and hug the apex kerb and then determine a good exit acceleration point to take advantage of the whole width on the track on exit. You normally manage to get two out of three parts correct. i.e. entry and apex or entry and exit but miss the apex. It is when you manage to hit all three is where you increase the radius of the corner and give the car the chance to carry faster speeds.
You are braking on the inside of the track, causing you to overshoot the corner, compromising your line and putting you on a shallower entry for the next corner too, with the two errors costing you a considerable amount of time as your speed through the corners are significantly slower than optimal. Try and make sure you are taking a wider entry approaching the corner in order to open the corner more and allowing you to carry more speed through the corner, which will help gain you more time overall as a result of the wider entry. - Example

The lines are good (there is still room to get tighter though) and your braking points are good. Your mid chicane acceleration is ok, in some chicanes you'll be able to get a bit more out of this section, use that short period to get a short burst of speed but remember the final exit is all important. Try not to come completely off the throttle when not necessary, sometimes you'll be able to just release the throttle 30-50% instead. Also, remember it is your exit speed that is of the most importance, concentrate on this.
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try brake with less pressure for the corner so that you can carry more speed through the corner, allowing you to gain more time overall due to maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example

It is a hard task to bring all these skills together at the same time. Keep up the work, it is worth persevering. By concentrating on the important of the braking point and power will make it possible to turn your attention more to the throttle. It is at this point that you'll see the biggest improvements in your times. The braking points and apex work suffered in this combination assessment. We will move on to the next plan however.
Extra -
You are braking too early, causing your speed to drop significantly earlier than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try adjusting to a later braking point so you can carry more speed under braking, gaining you more time overall due to this. - Example
‍
----------------------
09/07/2026
Overall performance in this assessment did not meet the required standard to progress to the next training plan. There were inconsistencies across the lap that affected your overall pace and control. While some sections showed potential, the combination of skills needs further refinement to reach the necessary consistency. Keep practicing with focused sessions, review your telemetry for patterns, and build toward greater reliability lap after lap. We will move on to the next assessment however.
Extra -
You are braking early and hard in the beginning, but you also release the brakes too quickly, which ends up with your car approaching the corner with too much speed and overshoot the corner, significantly compromising your exit as a result and costing you a considerable amount of time. Try braking with more pressure so you can slow the car down quicker and more efficiently, allowing you to avoid overshooting the corner, gaining you more time overall due to maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example

Some more work is needed here before we move on. Have a look at the advice below and make sure to compare to the reference lap when practicing to see where you can improve. Good luck and have fun!
Extra -
Currently, you are lifting off the throttle too early before the braking zone which costs you time.
When braking, you should use more brake pressure. This will allow you to brake later without running wide.
Often you are dropping a gear too low through the corner, which costs you time as you have to upshift an extra time compared to the reference lap.
This linked segment has all these points displayed - example
----------------------
11/06/2026
There is some good segments and some bad. The main issue is the braking point and the power of braking. These need looking at again as you struggled to find your braking points. Your gear choices could be improved a bit too. Bringing all these skills together at the same time takes time and effort. Concentrate on one or two tracks and you should have this in the bag. Remember try a few quick sessions to ensure there are no glaring errors when you review your telemetry.
Extra -
You are too slow getting back on throttle on exit, causing your exit speed to be compromised and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try applying the throttle quicker and with more power, so you can carry a higher exit speed, which will also follow onto the extremely long straight, gaining you more time overall due to this. - Example
----------------------
28/05/2026
There were quite a few errors that need addressing. Firstly look closely at your gear choices, has there were many times that you drop into too low a gear. This will be impacting your lap times significantly. Braking points were generally good, a few mistakes but your need to keep an eye on how quickly you brake. This was sometimes too slow. Enjoy the high downforce car and trust its stopping power. A bit more practice, especially on your gear choices and you'll be moving onto your next plan.
Extra -
You are too hesitant with the throttle, for the majority of the esses, you are two gears lower than optimal, and are too slow getting back on throttle and going up the gears, costing you a large amount of time as your acceleration is significantly lower than optimal, and you are too slow to properly attack the corner. Try get back on full throttle quicker, so you can get up the gears and carry more speed, gaining you more time overall as a result. Have a look at the reference lap to see the difference in both your gearing and your throttle application, as these fast corners are your weakest points and costing you several seconds in the segment alone. - Example
----------------------
17/05/2026
There is some good segments and some bad. The main issue is the braking point and the power of braking. These need looking at again as you struggled to find your braking points. Interestingly your gear choice was very good which was your weakest assessment over the previous sessions. Bringing all these skills together at the same time takes time and effort. Concentrate on one or two tracks and you should have this in the bag. Remember try a few quick sessions to ensure there are no glaring errors when you review your telemetry.
Extra -
You are braking early, which is fine, but you are holding the brakes all the way until you are halfway into the chicane, when in reality you should be already on the throttle before this point. The extended braking distance causes your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costs you a considerable amount of time as you exit the corner, as you are still braking at a part of the chicane when you should be almost full throttle. Try release the brakes earlier so you can carry a higher minimum speed through the chicane. Also, try get back on throttle as you hit the first part of the chicane, rather than braking, as it will gain you more time due to carrying a higher exit speed. - Example

A bit of a close pass, as you're sometimes still a gear too low, but overall you showed good choices, well done! Try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times.
So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra -
Currently, you're not opening the corner entries enough. To add to that, you're also not using the full potential of your brakes, meaning that you're sometimes entering corners too tight and also too fast - Example.
First, make sure you're opening the corner entry as much as possible, drive really close to the edge of the track for that. That'll increase how much speed you're able to carry through each corner.
Also, try to explore how hard you can brake during practice sessions. Really test the grip limit of the tyres to feel when they lock up under braking. Finding this limit will shorten braking distances and improve your connection with the car, enabling you to use the car's full performance when needed.
Good luck!

A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are one gear off the reference lap, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are taking the corners one gear higher than the reference time, meaning you are unable to rotate the car as you could with a lower gear, costing you time as a result. Your speed is too low for the higher gear, and gives you a slower acceleration on the corner exit. Have a look at the reference lap to get an idea of what gears to use, and then practice laps with a lower gear, and see how much time you gain as a result of just using a lower gear, allowing you to rotate the car better. - Example

02/04/2026
A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are one gear off the reference lap, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are often lifting off in high speed corners. This is a sign of lack of confidence and commitment. To be fast you have to trust the car and the downforce at speed. Try to stay flat in some of these corners - sometimes it is actually better for stability. Example
‍
----------------------
24/03/2026
Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps, the more the better! đź’Ş
Extra -
You are applying too much brake pressure for this corner, which greatly compromises your speed at the apex and on the exit of the corner. Try reducing your brake pressure so you can carry a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time. - Example
----------------------
07/03/2026
Your braking still lacks consistency. On some laps you're hitting the marks well with good modulation, but in others the pressure is either too light or too heavy for the corner, which then triggers mistakes later in the turn. Work on making your braking more repeatable in the next session—if we can lock that in, we'll be ready to move on to the next phase.
Extra -
There are still some places where you're quite early on the throttle and that's causing you to delay reaching full throttle at the corner exit - Example. First try to let the car coast just a little on the apex to avoid carrying too much speed there. That'll also allow you to brake slightly later and trail brake further into the corner. With time, you can reduce the amount of time you let the car coast (if the corner allows it, of course).
----------------------
19/02/2026
Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra -
One area to target is improving your minimum speed in corners, which relies heavily on braking later and staying committed to the throttle through the turn. This will tighten the gap in your corner exit performance. For instance, experimenting with a slightly later braking zone can unlock more consistent speed retention. Example
‍
----------------------
05/02/2026
Finding the fastest way through a corner isn’t always about sticking to the line that feels “just right.” Sometimes, pushing closer to the apex unlocks hidden speed. Imagine starting wide, aiming your entry toward the curb, and adjusting when you clip the apex—earlier or later, depending on the turn’s demands. On the exit, let the car drift naturally across the track, using every inch of space. Over time, these adjustments become automatic, and once they do, you can fine-tune your approach to shave off even more time.
Extra -
To gain an edge, work on holding higher speeds through corners by delaying braking and keeping the throttle engaged longer. This approach will minimize the delta on corner exits, giving you a stronger drive onto the straights. As an example, maintaining steady throttle pressure through the apex can lead to a noticeable boost in exit momentum. Example
‍
----------------------
22/01/2026
Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress. Â Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! đź’Ş
Extra -
Early throttle is forcing you to lift or slow down your rate of acceleration on multiple segments, try to add a quick conscious delay between braking and throttle, just small but noticeable. Example

There are some good corners and some bad corners. Let's give this assignment another go. Have a look at the advice bellow and good luck!
Extra -
In the high speed corners, you are braking in places where you don't need to. Work on building confidence in those fast corners. - example
In medium speed corners, you were often not using enough pressure and taking too much speed into the turn. This meant you went deep on exit and lost time. - example
In low speed corners, you were braking early and not using enough pressure. - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track đź’Ş
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
