This is a pass. Sometimes you really hit the throttle perfectly. There are a few hesitations but in general you are on the right track. As always, it is about the consistency of this. It is common for throttle work to be a more evolved process. Trickier to master and stay focused. When you achieve a good acceleration point then you'll be half way to achieving the desired smooth acceleration with no lifting off.
You are braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try and brake with less pressure so you can avoid overslowing the car, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall. - Example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Nicely done, you show that consistency is there. Work on this more with more longer sessions of 20+ laps as ones concentration sometimes affects ones consistency in these longer sessions. This skill is important as you work towards your second Combination Assessment.
Extra - You are carrying too much speed mid-apex, which causes you to run wide on the exit, compromising your exit speed and costing you a significant amount of time as a result. Try and slow the car down more approaching the apex so you can have a more traditional racing line through the corner, which will allow you to get back on the throttle quicker on the exit, and gain you more time overall. - Example
----------------------
10/07/2026
Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra - You are too slow getting back on the throttle on the exit of the corner, costing you a considerable amount of time due to your exit speed being significantly lower than optimal. Try get back onto the throttle quicker so you can accelerate quicker out of the corner, carrying a higher exit speed, and gain more time overall as a result. - Example
----------------------
30/06/2026
Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Also try to be quicker getting on the throttle on the exits (not just in chicanes). Remember gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.
Extra - You are braking too early, causing your speed to drop significantly earlier than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking at a later point so you can gain more time overall just by carrying more speed under braking. - Example

This is good enough to pass, well done. Still a couple small tweaks we can make to improve but we'll cover them in more detail is future assignments. For now, let's move onto some more advanced techniques. Good luck and have fun!
Extra - You aren't using enough brake pressure right now which means you have to brake earlier. If you use more brake pressure you can brake later. When braking you want to press the brake quickly, then hold at peak pressure (pressure changes depending on the corner), then release quickly. Don't forget to compare with the reference lap to see what you're doing differently. - example
----------------------
31/05/2026
Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra - You are keeping too tight to the inside, costing you a lot of time instead of gaining you time. Due to the camber of the Turn 3 hairpin, taking a high outside line is actually a lot quicker than taking a low inside line, as the camber of the corner will help rotate your car around and carry more speed, versus on the inside. Try some laps sticking up high and on the outside, as essentially running wide here is actually quicker than trying to get to the apex. Have a look at the reference lap here to get an idea of the line to take. - Example
----------------------
17/05/2026
Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra - You are braking too late, causing you to carry too much speed and overshoot the corner, significantly compromising your exit speed and costing you a considerable amount of time. Try braking at an earlier point to avoid overshooting the corner, which will help fix the other mistakes that followed, and allow you to maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall. - Example
----------------------
02/05/2026
Fantastic racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apex's. Great job using the whole width of the track. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can slowly tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are nailing the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up!
Extra - You are not braking hard enough, causing you to carry too much speed on corner entry, and significantly compromising your exit speed and costing you a lot of time. Remember, slow in fast out. The exit is the most important part, so try brake earlier to avoid running deep into the corner, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed overall, and allow you get back on throttle earlier on the exit, gaining you time. - Example
----------------------
19/04/2026
Well done, a very nice improvement! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - It looks like you're sometimes losing a bit of time on corner complexes. Most of the times, you're going too deep after the first apex (example) and end up losing time at the exit of the segment. In corner complexes, it's usually faster to sacrifice some exit speed after the first apex to then have a better entry into the second corner, especially if the following segment includes a straight or a full throttle section.
During your practise sessions, try different approaches to the segment in the given example and see how each one affects your delta.
Good luck!

There are some bad corners and some good corners. It is important to braking hard to be able to stretch your braking points. Brake hard and brake deep. Remember to refer back to the reference lap to see how you are doing. Small adjustments are needed all the time. We are only a little way off so we will move on. Each of these plans works on top of the previous one. So don't forget your braking points as we look closer at the apex of each corner. Also, it is important that you don't rest on the brake pedal before you commit to the corner.
Extra - You are often braking toolightly, despite braking earlier, which causes you to carry too much speed into corners and overshoot them. In the final chicane at Imola, you are braking slightly earlier, but with about half the amount of brake pressure the reference time is using. Try braking a bit later in corners, but with more pressure, so that you can slow the car down more efficiently and gain more time just from carrying more speed under braking. - Example

There were some strong segments, but there were unfortunately too many missed braking points. Practice consistency by driving slightly slower than your maximum speed.
Remember your braking points and aim to repeat them for three consecutive laps, always trying to stay within a second and a half of your previous laps. Only when you achieve this, attempt to go a bit faster. Repeat this process for many laps, but don’t forget to return to the analysis to ensure you're not committing any major mistakes.
Braking should be firm and decisive; never rest your foot on the brake before reaching the braking point.
Good luck, and with enough laps and the advice above, I’m confident you’ll master this driving skill
Extra - You're driving really well, and your apexes, entry and exit are pretty good at the moment. What I'd suggest is that you work hard on getting your braking points closer to the corner. You're losing a little bit of time on the straights because of this - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
