Your racing lines are starting to look like you are understanding. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are still a few corners where you are entering too tight and exiting too narrow, which costs you minimum speed. But this is a good pass, so lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
Entry width in this segment is crucial. Here, you're turning into the chicane quite early, giving you a tighter entry. That means you'll approach the second apex at a sharper angle and go wide at the middle of the bus stop. You'll then need to slow down further to give the car time to come back to the inside and hit the 3rd and 4th apexes. Try some different approaches here and see which one feels better, but remember that entry width is the most important factor here!

Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Also try to be quicker getting on the throttle on the exits (not just in chicanes). Remember gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.
Extra -
You are lifting off the throttle too much, causing your speed to drop too much, and costing you time as a result. Try release the throttle with a bit less pressure, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner, gaining you more time overall with the extra speed. - Example

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra -
You are too slow getting back on the throttle on corner exit, costing you a considerable amount of time as a result of a slower acceleration speed out of the corner. Try and get back on the throttle quicker, so you can carry a higher acceleration on corner exit, gaining you more time overall. - Example
----------------------
19/06/2026
Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra -
You are often too conservative with the throttle, and you are often not getting towards 100% throttle through the high speed corners, costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Have a look at the reference lap, and try use the throttle with more pressure to accelerate quicker and carry more speed through the esses, gaining you more time overall just by carrying more speed through the corner. - Example
----------------------
06/06/2026
Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra -
You are braking unnecessarily in Turn 3, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try lifting off the throttle rather than braking, so you can slow the car down enough for the corner, whilst maintaining a higher minimum speed, gaining you more time overall. - Example

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Your braking still lacks consistency. On some laps you're hitting the marks well with good modulation, but in others the pressure is either too light or too heavy for the corner, which then triggers mistakes later in the turn. Work on making your braking more repeatable in the next session—if we can lock that in, we'll be ready to move on to the next phase.
Extra - You are braking too early for Turn 1 at Brands Hatch, which causes your speed to drop significantly and costing you a lot of time. Try adjusting your braking to a later braking point so you can carry more speed under braking and gain more time. - Example
----------------------
12/03/2026
Your braking is too inconsistent. Sometimes you are showing good technique and other times your braking strength is not where it needs to be for that particular corner. This leads to other mistakes in your driving. Try to improve your consistency for the next assessment so we can move past this stage.
Extra - The line is a touch too conservative through the middle of the corner, costing exit momentum. Get comfortable pushing to the edges of the track on turn-in, clipping the apex closer, and tracking out fully when the car is stable. Example

Really sorry for the delay on the update.
Fantastic racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apex's. Great job using the whole width of the track. Practice trying to take a slightly later or earlier apex and see how this affects your deltas. Also have in the back of your mind the angle / direction of the car as you take the apex. The more it is facing in the direction of the coming straight the quicker you'll be able to effectively get on the throttle. Your throttle engagement should generally be within two car lengths of your apex.
Extra - We'll take a deeper look into segments 2 and 3 at the Algarve International circuit, as it usually gives drivers a better perspective on how to approach a track that can be very helpful throughout their progress.
The key feature of this section it the crest at the apex on segment 3, because of which drivers need to deal with oversteer and overall lack of grip on that corner exit. To fight that, the best racing line through this corner needs to have a wide entry, aiming for a straighter exit. This enables the driver to go through this corner almost at full throttle and, considering we have a long straight after it, each inch of width at the entry will influence how fast your exit is and how high your top speed will be.
So, the goal is to have a wide entry into the corner on segment 3, that means you'll have to sacrifice some exit speed on the segment 2 hairpin, only letting the car exit towards the middle of the track and quickly bringing it back to the right-hand side to open the line on segment 3.
These two segments are great to show drivers how they need to think ahead on track and see how each corner influences the next one.
Keep an eye out and see how you can apply this knowledge in various tracks!

Nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on most of the time. Important! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily.
Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - You obviously have good control of your inputs and your style shows that you have probably been driving a while. With this comes a couple of habits that you have picked up. Notice how you sometimes have the throttle and the brake working against each other. A little crossover is fine but running 10% on the throttle whilst trail braking is actually affecting your deltas. Be patient, come off the throttle and then hit the throttle with more conviction at your corner exit point - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
