Nicely done, you show that consistency is there. Work on this more with more longer sessions of 20+ laps as ones concentration sometimes affects ones consistency in these longer sessions. This skill is important as you work towards your second Combination Assessment.
You are braking a bit too early, causing your speed to drop significantly before the ideal braking zone, costing you a considerable amount of time as a result, as you are too slow approaching the corner in comparison to the reference lap. Try and brake at a later point so you can carry more speed under braking, which will in turn let you carry more speed into the corner, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and cost you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try and brake with less pressure into the corner, so you can carry more speed into the chicane, gaining you more time overall due to maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example
Another thing to note is that you are sometimes accelerating and braking at the same time, which induces understeer and pushes you wide, as you are asking the car to brake and accelerate at the same time whilst turning the car, putting all 4 tyres under braking/accelerating force whilst steering, causing the wheels to scrub against the track and hinder its turning ability. Try and make sure you are only using one pedal at a time to make the most out of your braking ability.

You're last assessment was meant to be Specials - Mastering the Chicane
Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Also try to be quicker getting on the throttle on the exits (not just in chicanes). Remember gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.

You are braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking with less pressure so you can carry more speed into the corner, gaining you more time overall due to maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready. Good luck and have fun on track
Extra -
You are lifting off the throttle in a flat out corner, costing you significant time unnecessarily, and it affects your run into the final braking zone, as you are now much slower approaching the corner than optimal. Try keep the throttle planted through the left hander, without lifting off the throttle, and trust that the car will get through without running off track. This will help you avoid losing free time, and carry more speed into the chicane that follows next. - Example

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra -
There are a few segments where you're turning too early into the corners, that means the car gets pushed out wide earlier, you'll have to delay getting on the throttle and your speed will be slower at the corner exit (example). Finding the right turn-in point is not always easy, but typically you need to point the car towards a good and straighter exit line while also being able to start accelerating close to the apex and quickly make it to full throttle.Checking your telemetry during and after a practice session can also be very helpful to see where you can make alight adjustments to your racing line. Also keep in mind that the turn-in point can vary according to the car's setup and the driver's preferred driving style, but they all should be around the same area. Example

There is some good segments and some bad. The main issue is the braking point and the power of braking. These need looking at again as you struggled to find your braking points. Bringing all these skills together at the same time takes time and effort. Concentrate on one or two tracks and you should have this in the bag. Remember try a few quick sessions to ensure there are no glaring errors when you review your telemetry.
Extra -
You are braking and accelerating at the same time, causing your ability to slow the car down be significantly compromised, as well as costing you a considerable amount of time as a result of braking earlier which drops the speed earlier. Try make sure you are not using both pedals at the same time, and try braking later but harder, to carry more speed under braking but also slow the extra speed down more efficiently, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!
Extra -
You are coming on throttle too early, causing you to have to pause before getting back on full throttle as a result of this, which ends up costing you time rather than gaining you time. Try be more patient before going back on throttle, so that when you do go on throttle, you can get on full throttle quickly, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra -
You are holding the brakes for much longer than necessary, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal at the apex and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result of this. Try releasing the brakes quicker so you can carry more speed through the corner and gain more time overall by maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example
----------------------

Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra -
You are turning into the corner too early, compromising your entry, which in turn affects your exit, as you are unable to get back on throttle as quickly as you could due to the shallower entry. Try open the corner more before turning into the apex, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed and letting you get back on throttle quicker, gaining you time overall. - Example

You're doing really well, although there were a couple of instances where you just missed the mark. No worries though, it happens to the best of us! Something to keep in mind is that sometimes there are segments of the track where you don't need to brake at all. In those instances, simply lifting off the throttle can be enough to help you retain your speed and maintain control. Enjoy your apex work and don't be afraid to test the entry-apex-exit kerbs!
Extra -
You are braking a bit too late, which causes you to carry more speed under braking and slightly overshoot the corner, compromising your exit speed and costing you time. Try braking a bit earlier to avoid overshooting the corner, which will then allow you to maintain a higher minimum speed at the apex and gain more time. - Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
