Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!
You are not using the whole length of the track, often avoiding the kerbs, causing your speed through the chicane to be slower than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try and be a bit more aggressive in the chicane and use the kerb to carry more speed and also to help rotate the car, gaining you more time overall due to this. - Example

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Occasionally you were applying the brakes when not needed. A quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra -
You are braking too early, causing your speed to drop significantly earlier than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking at a later point so you can carry more speed under braking, gaining you more time overall due to this. - Example

Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra -
You are not steering enough when exiting the second part of the chicane, washing you wide and compromising your exit significantly as a result, costing you a considerable amount of time. Try put more steering lock into the corner to rotate the car around the corner, allowing you to straighten the car quicker and put the power down earlier, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress. Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Some more work is needed here. Currently, your braking points are too inconsistent. Sometimes too early, sometimes too late but there are times where you are braking in the correct place. Give this assignment another go and make sure to compare to the reference lap to see what you can do differently under braking to find time. Good luck and have fun!

Currently, it takes too long for you to reach 100% brake pressure. This means that even if you brake at the correct point, you are running wide through the corner and on corner exit. Work on applying the brake pressure as quickly as you can over the next couple weeks. This will allow you to brake later as you are spending less time applying the brakes. - example

Currently you're still missing too many braking points and are braking quite late. That's often causing you to overshoot corners and miss apexes. Try instead to be more conservative, brake earlier, make sure you hit the apex and get a good exit. That is to make sure you're approaching each corner with a consistent speed, making it easier to find good braking points. If you keep overshooting corners and missing apexes, you'll approach a corner with a different speed each lap and you won't be able to consistently adjust your braking points.
Keep working on this, you're close to passing the assignment. Good luck!

Adding to what was written above, try to use more track, especially on the corner entry. Approach the corner closer to the entry kerbs to widen your racing line and to be able to carry more speed through it.
The goal for most corners is usually to stay right on the edge of the track on the approach to the corner, stay wide until you reach a good turn-in point, then aim for the apex.
On the exit it's often the same principle: start accelerating near the apex and aim to go as wide as you can without going over the track limits. Don't be afraid to try to get on the kerbs, you can gain a lot of time by using them! - Example

Some more work is needed here. Currently, there is too much inconsistency in your braking, sometimes it's good, sometimes too early, sometimes too late. When driving on a track, after your first session compare with the reference lap and see where they're braking. Give this assignment another go.

Currently, getting a hang of the basics is going to find you multiple seconds of time. Tidying up your racing lines, gear choices, braking points, brake pressure and throttle application should be your main focus for now. In this linked segment alone (example) getting these techniques better will find you at least half a second. Good luck and have fun!

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
