A nice improvement here. You show a smoother movement on the majority of segments. Just be aware that it is very easy to slip on this area. That smoothness of steering (as well as braking and throttle) will help you maintain a balance / weighted car. This combined with ensuring your use the full width of the track might help shave another few tenths off your time.
Extra -
You are braking a bit too early, causing your speed to drop a bit earlier than optimal and costing you some time as a result. Try braking at a slightly later point so you can carry more speed under braking and into the corner, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Great use of trail braking, by releasing the brake slowly to help rotate the car around sharper hairpins and get back on the throttle smoothly. This will help shave tenths off your time as you are setting yourself up well for the corner exit. Try also to be a little flexible about the power of your braking, remember of faster corners you can avoid braking all the way to 100%.
Extra -
You are braking too early and with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly earlier than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking later with the same amount of pressure, so you can gain more time overall just by carrying more speed under braking and slowing down the extra speed more efficiently. - Example

Extra - You are not getting back on throttle quick enough, and when you do get on throttle, you are applying the throttle too slowly, costing you a considerable amount of time as a result as your speed is significantly lower than optimal, making you a lot slower on the exit. Try apply the throttle earlier, and faster, so you can carry a higher acceleration and exit speed out of the corner, gaining you time overall. - Example
----------------------
20/05/2026
As more skills are added to the combination assessments they naturally become harder. Essentially there are more areas where errors can be seen. You did an extremely good job last week and managed to pass. If you look back at your telemetry you'll be able to spot small improvements that are needed. For example, sometimes just a slight hesitation on the throttle as you accelerate or missing a tight apex.
Extra - You are braking a bit early, but also for too long, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal at the apex and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try release the brakes quicker and get back on throttle quicker so you can carry a higher apex speed and exit speed, gaining you more time overall due to maintianing a higher minimum speed. - Example
----------------------
05/05/2026
This is a pass. Sometimes you really hit the throttle perfectly. There are a few hesitations but in general you are on the right track. As always, it is about the consistency of this. It is common for throttle work to be a more evolved process. Trickier to master and stay focused. When you achieve a good acceleration point then you'll be half way to achieving the desired smooth acceleration with no lifting off.
Extra - You are too slow at getting back on throttle in comparison to the reference time, which is losing you time as a result of this. Try getting back on throttle earlier so you can have a higher exit speed on corner exits and gain more time overall. - Example

Nicely done, you show that consistency is there. Work on this more with more longer sessions of 20+ laps as ones concentration sometimes affects ones consistency in these longer sessions. This skill is important as you work towards your second Combination Assessment.
Extra -In Turn 1 at Miami, you come off the brakes too early, causing you to carry too much apex speed and hurting your speed on exit. Try trailing on the brakes longer so you can avoid going too deep into the corner, and allowing you to get on throttle earlier on the exit. - Example
----------------------
26/03/2026
Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra - In the fast left and right hander at Shanghai International Circuit, your line is too shallow for the right hand hander, which comprises your speed for the entire corner. It is better to position more to the left so you can open the corner more and carry more speed in. Try stick more to the left on the left hander, so you can open the corner easier for the next corner. - Example

Really sorry for the delay on the update.
Your data is a bit choppy, but we got enough out of it to make an assessment. This could be because other processes are running in the background on your PC. Please try adjusting the send rate on the Track Titan logger if this continues or close unnecessary programs. Also, please make sure the Track Titan logger is up to date. Please follow this link if you need help running the update. If the problem persists, please contact keith@tracktitan.io and he'll get this working for you.
Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Remember to be smooth with your inputs and with the throttle on the exit. Gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.
We'll pass on to your next assignment. Good luck!
Extra - The two corner on this segment are a bit too far apart to be approached like a chicane, so we'll take a deeper look at them.
In a chicane, you'd be looking for the straightest line, avoiding too many direction changes. Here, due to the space between the two corners, you need to be a bit more careful on the throttle after the first apex. Then you can have a wider entry into the second corner, giving you an advantage and higher top speed on the following straight.
Try a few different approaches on this segment and see how each one affects your lap time.

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra - Sometimes you're turning your steering wheel a bit too much, mainly in the tighter corners. This can cause a lot of understeer since you're essentially making the tyres slide on the track. Try to reduce your steering input and then slightly turn a little more each lap. Once you see that the car is not responding to your inputs, you've found the tyres' grip limit. Now you only need to stay under that limit. Example
----------------------
30/12/2025
There were some promising moments, but also a few rough patches. The main hiccup was dialling in your braking—both in terms of timing and pressure. You seemed to have a hard time hitting that perfect braking sweet spot consistently. On the flip side, your gear selection really shined, a notable improvement from previous sessions where it was a weak link. Blending all these elements together is no small feat—it takes plenty of practice and patience. My tip? Focus on mastering one or two tracks until the nuances click. And don't forget to squeeze in some quick laps to catch any obvious slip-ups in your telemetry before they turn into bad habits.
Extra - Your biggest hurdle at present is lifting off the gas prematurely rather than flooring it to complete throttle. Try refining your trajectory slightly by taking a tighter line into the apex—that'll be a game-changer. Example
----------------------
16/12/2025
Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....

Great job, your braking is looking really good. Be careful how much pressure you apply in the fast corners, sometimes you are using too much and it slows you down more than you need to. Keep up the good work 💪
Extra - You are taking too long to get back onto the throttle in most corners. Work on getting to 100% a little faster, you don't want to go from 0-100% super super quickly, however you're taking a bit too much time and it's costing you, not only under acceleration but down the straights as well. - example
----------------------
18/11/2025
Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra - You're sometimes turning just a bit too late into the corners (example), that is lowering your speed at the corner entry. Although you're sometimes able to compensate on exit, that's often not enough to make up for the time lost on entry. Refer back to your telemetry to find these places where you can gain some time. Adding them together will make a noticeable difference on your lap time.

There are times when you hit the apex perfectly, nice and tight with a good line out of the corner. However, there are too many times when you are not pushing this enough and there is still room to get tighter on the apex. Remember start wide on the entry kerb, sight your apex (late or early apex) and then accelerate so that you need to use the full width of the track. A little more practice and your get that feeling for each corner. At that point more experimentation can be done to tweak for small improvements.
Try to get a few more laps in a minimum of 20 really is needed to start to see improvements.
Extra - Trust your car and it's downforce. Look for segments like this one where you are lifting unnecessarily. You have a good entry into the corner, nice and wide, the apex could be a little tighter but the issue is you don't trust yourself to use the full width on exit. This is tempting you to lift off the throttle. This lift is expensive in terms of your lap times, so try and test a full throttle corner. When you know you can do it, you'll do it again and again - example

Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on. Important! You have clearly got good reference markers. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks with regards to brake pressure and trailbraking to improve lap time further. Take a look at the way the reference driver smoothly bleeds off the brakes when going into a corner. This is better for weight transfer and overall grip.
Extra - You are often one gear off the reference lap, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well. - example

We're very sorry, unfortunately your data looks a bit corrupted and we can't make a good assessment from it. This could be because other processes are running in the background on your PC. We'll be working on it to fix it in the future. but in the meantime, please try adjusting the send rate on the Track Titan logger or close unnecessary programs. That might fix it.
Extra - Your braking points are looking quite good, but unfortunately we can't be sure due to the corrupted data.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
