We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

B1 - Braking - The Braking Point | 09/03/2026 (72%)
R1 - Racing Line - Hitting the Apex | 19/04/2026 (81%)
B2 - Braking - Power and Speed | 13/05/2026 (71%)
27/05/2026 - 25/06/2026
Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Occasionally you were applying the brakes when not needed. A quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - You are braking earlier than the reference lap, even though your speed is significantly lower than optimal on the straight. This causes your speed to be reduced considerably as you reach the apex, costing you a lot of time as a result. Try adjusting to a later braking point carry more speed under braking, which will then cause you to brake harder to slow down the extra speed more efficiently, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Your braking still lacks consistency. On some laps you're hitting the marks well with good modulation, but in others the pressure is either too light or too heavy for the corner, which then triggers mistakes later in the turn. Work on making your braking more repeatable in the next session—if we can lock that in, we'll be ready to move on to the next phase.
Extra - You are carrying too much speed into corners, causing you to go off track and hit the wall. Try braking a bit to reduce the speed further to avoid going off track. It is a fast corner, but the car does not have the ability to take the corner flat out like a traditional race car. A small bit of braking and back on throttle will help maintain a higher minimum speed overall, gaining you time. - Example

Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra - You are often braking too late and too harsh, which causes your speed to be compromised at the apex and the exit as a result of the harsher braking to avoid running off track. Try braking a bit earlier and with less pressure, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time, and not have to worry about overshooting the corner. - Example

Sometimes, you'll hit the perfect line through a corner—clean, sharp, with a strong exit. But there's often more speed to be found by hugging the apex even tighter. Start by taking a wide approach at the entry curb, focusing on your apex timing (be it early or late), then accelerate out in a way that utilizes the entire width of the track. As you accumulate more laps, this technique will become second nature. Once you've got consistency down, you can make small tweaks to cut down your lap times even more.
Extra - Here you go too deep into this hairpin. This makes you loose too much momentum mid-corner that you are unable to make up for it on exit. Your minimum speed suffers as a result. Example
----------------------
17/03/2026
There are times when you hit the apex perfectly, nice and tight with a good line out of the corner. However, there are too many times when you are not pushing this enough and there is still room to get tighter on the apex. Remember start wide on the entry kerb, sight your apex (late or early apex) and then accelerate so that you need to use the full width of the track. A little more practice and you'll get that feeling for each corner. At that point more experimentation can be done to tweak for small improvements. Try to get a few more laps - a minimum of 20 really is needed to start to see improvements.
Extra - There are some corners where you're braking late and aggressively, causing understeer at the entry and losing time at the exit - Example. In fast or off-camber corners, for instance, it's better to be earlier and lighter on the brakes. That way it's easier to control the car's weight shifts, keeping it under balance with more grip. Braking aggressively in fast corners shifts the car's weight to the front axle and causes understeer.
Analyse your telemetry in fast corners and see how you can change the way you're braking to improve your performance there. Good luck!

You braking points are good. Well done. We will move onto the next assignment now. Good luck and have fun!
Extra - You are getting on the throttle way too early which causes you to go wide in the corner. Be patient on the throttle and wait until the car is about to point the direction you want to go in before getting on the power. - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
