We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. π

Nicely done, you show that consistency is there. Work on this more with more longer sessions of 20+ laps as ones concentration sometimes affects ones consistency in these longer sessions. This skill is important as you work towards your second Combination Assessment.
Extra -
You are too slow coming back on throttle on corner exit, costing you a considerable amount of time as your exit speed is significantly affected. Try and get back onto the throttle earlier so that you can carry a higher exit speed out of the corner, gaining you more time overall as a result. - Example

Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
You are braking unnecessarily in a high speed corner, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a lot of time as a result. Try and lift off the throttle instead of braking, as the engine braking of an F1 car will slow you down enough for the corner. This will allow you to maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall. - Example
----------------------
16/07/2026
Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Also try to be quicker getting on the throttle on the exits (not just in chicanes). Remember gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.
Extra -
You are lifting off a lot before the braking zone, reducing your speed significantly and costing you a considerable amount of time as you are much slower approaching the corner. Try keep the throttle pinned until the braking point, to avoid losing time unnecessarily and allowing you to carry more speed into the braking zone. - Example
----------------------
30/06/2026
Please drive a track like Zolder, Monza or Imola so we can analyse your driving in a multitude of different corner/chicane types. Great driving otherwise. Once we tick this box we will be onto the next one in no time.
Extra -
You are getting lifting off too early and too much, and getting back on throttle too late, causing your exit speed to be affected as you are not able to accelerate out the corner as quickly as the reference lap. Try lifting off the throttle less, and get back on throttle earlier so you can carry a higher exit speed, gaining you more time overall as a result. - Example

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited, and the majority of the racing skills learned have been displayed across multiple segments. There are some areas where improvements are needed, which will lower your lap times. There were several instances where your gear choice could be improved. Learning truly comes from driving, analysing, and then driving again until you feel you've reached a plateau, then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible
Extra -
You are too slow getting back on throttle on corner exits, causing your exit speed to be compromised and costing you a significant amount of time as a result. Try applying the throttle quicker as you reach the apex, so you can accelerate quicker as you exit the corner, gaining you more time overall due to carry a higher exit speed. - Example

Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!
Extra -
You are braking too late, causing you to carry too much speed and slightly overshoot the corner, costing you a bit of time as a result. Try adjusting to an earlier braking point to avoid overshooting the corner, which will allow you to maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall. - Example
----------------------
20/05/2026
Some more work is needed here before we move onto the next skills. Often, you are dropping a gear too low through corners which costs you time under acceleration as you lose time having to upshift again. Try experimenting with a higher gear and see what works best. Give this assignment another go. Good luck and have fun!
Extra -
You are braking too early in most corners right now, your braking shape (the shape left by the brake inputs on the graph) is good, you just just need to push it forwards a bit more to find some more time. - example
----------------------
07/05/2026
A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are one gear off the reference lap, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are often going a gear lower than optimal for a corner, causing the engine braking to kick in further and reduce your speed significantly more and costing you time as a result. Try keep the car in a higher gear so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time. Engine braking is already really strong in an F1 car, and giving more engine braking unnecessarily will just cost you time as the speed drops rapidly. - Example
----------------------
20/04/2026
Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps, the more the better! πͺ
Extra -
In the heavier braking zones, you are braking too lightly, causing you to have to hold onto the brakes longer than necessary, and costing you time on the exit due to having more speed under braking and having to continue braking to avoid overshooting the corner. Try braking with more pressure to slow the car down more efficiently, which will help avoid overshooting the corner, giving you a higher minimum speed through the corner and overall gaining you more time. - Example
----------------------

Fantastic racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apex's. Great job using the whole width of the track. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can slowly tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are nailing the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up!
Extra -
In the two hairpins at Interlagos, you are braking too lightly, causing you to overshoot both corners as you are carrying too much speed into them. Try applying more pressure on the brakes to slow the car more efficiently to avoid overshooting the corner, and allow you to get back on the throttle earlier on the exits. - Example
----------------------
25/03/2026
Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on. Important! You have clearly got good reference markers. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks with regards to brake pressure and trailbraking to improve lap time further. Take a look at the way the reference driver smoothly bleeds off the brakes when going into a corner. This is better for weight transfer and overall grip.
Extra -
At Interlagos, specifically into the hairpins, you take a bit too long to get to maximum brake pressure. This causes you to run wide and compromises your line into the next corner, as you carried too much speed in the entry of the corner. Have a look at your braking pattern in comparison to the reference lap's pattern to get an idea of what to practice! - Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track πͺ
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
