We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

There are some good times, however also too many invalid laps. I appreciate that this is inevitable when training but it is worth really focusing on this technique as nailing lap after lap without invalid laps is critical in a race situation. It can be the difference between a drive through or not. Slow you driving down a little and really concentrate on the consistency with valid laps. A racing drivers main skill has to be able to achieve similar lap times lap after lap. Drop your speed 10% and achieve these valid laps to move on with your training.
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking with less pressure so you can roll more speed into the corner, gaining you more time overall just by maintaining a higher minimum speed through the corner. - Example
----------------------
19/06/2026
Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
You are lifting off the throttle too much, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try lift off the throttle a bit less so you can carry a lot more speed through the esses, gaining you more time overall. - Example
----------------------

Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Also try to be quicker getting on the throttle on the exits (not just in chicanes). Remember gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.
Extra -
You are too slow getting back on throttle on exit, costing you a considerable amount of time as a result as you are unable to carry the same speed on the exit, and that impact reflects on the second straight, losing you free time throughout. Try getting back on full throttle to carry a higher exit speed, and top end speed on the straight, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Your last assessment was meant to be a combination of the last four plans:
A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Work hard at the power of your braking. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra -
You are holding the brakes for too long, but also too slow at getting back on the throttle, costing you a considerable amount of time both on entry and on exit as your speed is significantly lower than optimal for either part of the corner. Try releasing the brakes earlier so you can carry a higher apex speed, and try get back on throttle earlier so you can carry a higher exit speed, both which will gain you more time as a result. - Example
----------------------
11/05/2026
For the most part, your gear choices a spot on but there were a few times where you where dropping a gear too low for the corner, which affected you mid corner speed and acceleration. This is good enough for a pass, so we will move onto the next assignment now. Good luck and have fun!
Extra -
Have a look at your steering inputs. Often, you are turning the wheel too much. Try to reduce your inputs by 20-30 degrees to avoid understeer. Understeer is when the front tyres lose grip before the rear tyres, which results in the car steering less than optimal. This can cause the tyres to wear faster and increase tyre temps (making the tyre too hot), you'll also have to go slower through corners to make it around. - example
----------------------

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps, the more the better! 💪
Extra -
You are braking too late into the final hairpin at Interlagos, causing you to overshoot the corner due to carrying too much speed on the entry, and affecting your exit speed, costing you signfiicant time. Try braking at an earlier point to avoid overshooting the corner, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time. - Example
----------------------
13/04/2026
Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra -
You are sometimes turning into corners a bit too late, costing you time as you opened the corner more than optimal. Try turn in a bit earlier so you can get to the apex and gain time. - Example
----------------------
29/03/2026
Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on. Important! You have clearly got good reference markers. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks with regards to brake pressure and trailbraking to improve lap time further. Take a look at the way the reference driver smoothly bleeds off the brakes when going into a corner. This is better for weight transfer and overall grip.
Extra -
You hold onto the brakes for too long, and with a lot of brake pressure, which causes your speed to drop significantly and costs you a lot of time. Try easing off the brakes more quickly, and come off maximum brake pressure sooner so you can carry a higher minimum speed and gain more time.
----------------------
15/03/2026
There were some good segments but unfortunately too many missed braking points still. Practice trying to be consistent. This is best done by driving a little slower than your maximum. Remember your braking points and try to repeat for 3 laps in a row, always trying to be within a second and a half of the lap before. Only when you achieve this try going a little faster. Repeat his process for many laps but don't forget to put back to the analysis to make sure you aren't making any big mistakes.
Brake hard and fast, never rest your foot on the brake before committing to the braking point.
Good luck and I'm sure with enough laps and the advice above you'll be passing this driving skill
Extra -
The most important thing is to nail these breaking points, and we can move forward with the next assignment. One other interesting thing to look at is you tend to try to push each gear a little bit too far. It is better to change up earlier - example
----------------------
27/02/2026
Currently, you are braking too early. You're brake pressure and application is correct, just around 20m too early in most corners. Give this assignment another go and let's see how you get on.
Extra - Have a look at your steering inputs. - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
