Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Occasionally you were applying the brakes when not needed. A quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

Bonus Focus Point

You are too slow getting back on throttle when exiting the corner. This is costing you a considerable amount of time as your exit speed is significantly slower than optimal. Try getting back on the accelerator quicker as you leave the corner, allowing you to carry a higher exit speed quicker and gain more time overall as a result. - Example

You're racing lines are starting to take shape. These skills we're going over now are going to set a strong foundation to build as we move through the plan. This is good enough to pass so we will move onto the next assigment. Good luck and have fun!

Extra -

You aren't using enough brake pressure right now which means you have to brake earlier. If you use more brake pressure you can brake later. When braking you want to press the brake quickly, then hold at peak pressure (pressure changes depending on the corner), then release quickly. Don't forget to compare with the reference lap to see what you're doing differently. - example

Thanks for the laps. This is good enough to pass, well done. We'll move onto the next skill now. Looked for corners with elevation changes, as you were often braking too early for them. If the corner is on a downhill slope, you will need to take a little less speed into it to avoid understeer. If the corner is uphill, you can brake a lot later and deeper into the corner without getting understeer, as the car will be pressed down into the road.

Extra -

Often, you are upshifting a too late which costs you time on corner exit and down the following straight. Experiment with upshifting a little earlier on corner exit and see how you get on. - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.

Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.

We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.

Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.

The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.

If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"

Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.

Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
