Please drive a track that is supported by the Track Titan Platform. There are plenty to choose from but unfortunately the ones you have been driving are not. The Kunos tracks are always a safe bet for the best reference laps.
Sorry for the inconvenience and good luck on future sessions!

----------------------

Great use of trail braking, by releasing the brake slowly to help rotate the car around sharper hairpins and get back on the throttle smoothly. This will help shave tenths off your time as you are setting yourself up well for the corner exit. Try also to be a little flexible about the power of your braking, remember of faster corners you can avoid braking all the way to 100%.

Extra -

You are applying too much brake pressure, causing your apex speed to be lower than optimal and costing you time on the exit. Try applying less brake pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall. - Example

Apologises for the delay. You've shown a good understanding of the skills you've been learning and improving. Well done. We will move onto the next assessment now. Good luck and have fun!

Extra -

In lots of corners, you could've used more kerb to help open up the corner more and find time. By opening up the corner more, you're generally able to take more speed into it which finds time during the corner and the following straight. - example

Unfortunately, we didn't find any sessions recorded on tracks supported by Track Titan. There are plenty of supported modded tracks to choose from, but the original Kunos content is always a safe bet.
We'll be here whenever you're ready. Good luck!

Extra -

Brake harder and faster even on the fast corners, try a quick dab instead of your currently longer ease on and off, test these two styles. Example

----------------------

07/01/2026
There are several areas that need significant improvement, and unfortunately, this has resulted in failing the assignment. In this second combined assessment, we are considering eight key factors that influence your driving performance. First, you need to pay more attention to your gear choices. On multiple occasions, you dropped into gears that were too low, which has a direct impact on your lap times. Your braking points were mostly acceptable, but there were several misjudgments. You need to work on how quickly you’re braking, as this can lead to unnecessary time loss. However, the most noticeable issue was your inconsistent braking, going on and off the brakes too much. This disrupts your rhythm and efficiency on the track.

It’s crucial to review your sessions in detail. Without doing so, you will continue to guess at your performance, which is not an effective approach. The top drivers analyse every aspect of their driving, constantly searching for small mistakes and testing adjustments in their lines and braking techniques to improve their lap times. Until you adopt this level of analysis and attention to detail, you will struggle to make the necessary improvements to pass.

Extra -

Delay getting on the throttle too early, this is causing you to understeer and in turn forcing you to lift off the throttle. Wait a little, then be quicker and smoother with the throttle pedal. Example

----------------------

24/12/2025
This is a pass. Sometimes you really hit the throttle perfectly. There are a few hesitations but in general you are on the right track. As always, it is about the consistency of this. It is common for throttle work to be a more evolved process. Trickier to master and stay focused. When you achieve a good acceleration point then you'll be half way to achieving the desired smooth acceleration with no lifting off. Now focus on speeding this up, but not too much that you need to lift off - find the sweet spot.

Extra -

You are often braking in fast corners. This is a sign of lack of confidence and commitment. To be fast you have to trust the car and the downforce at speed. Try to stay flat in some of these corners - sometimes it is actually better for stability. Example

Also, please make sure the Track Titan logger is up to date, we're getting a lot of errors and partial telemetry from your sessions and that might fix it.
This article explains how to upgrade to the latest version, if the system hasn't managed to automatically upgrade you.

Extra - You're often accelerating a bit before the apex (sometimes to compensate some lack of speed there) and that's making the car gain too much speed at the mid-corner phase, which delays your acceleration at the exit (example).
Try to avoid using too much throttle before the apex, try instead to find a good minimum speed for the corner only by using the brakes. Control the car's weight balance by trail braking to rotate it towards the apex and then be able to accelerate smoothly out of the corner.

----------------------

12/11/2025
You need some work in this area, there were multiple times in one lap were you were getting on the power and having to lift off on exit. Practice hard and be extremely conscious of when you are lifting off the throttle (usually on corner exit). Try not to drive at 100% aggression. Back off a little until you get the feeling of pressing the throttle pedal in one direction throughout the corner exit. This is all about not lifting off the throttle.

Extra - Sometimes you're turning your steering wheel a bit too much, mainly in the tighter corners. This can cause a lot of understeer since you're essentially making the tyres slide on the track. Try to reduce your steering input and then slightly turn a little more each lap. Once you see that the car is not responding to your inputs, you've found the tyres' grip limit. Now you only need to stay under that limit. Example

Impressively consistent race times, showcasing your dedication and skill. This consistent performance is a crucial asset as you prepare for your upcoming Combination Assessment. Keep up the great work, it's evident that you're on the right track towards achieving your goals.

Extra - One area to target is improving your minimum speed in corners, which relies heavily on braking later and staying committed to the throttle through the turn. This will tighten the gap in your corner exit performance. For instance, experimenting with a slightly later braking zone can unlock more consistent speed retention. Example

----------------------

10/09/2025
There are some good times, however also too many invalid laps. I appreciate that this is inevitable when training but it is worth really focusing on this technique as nailing lap after lap without invalid laps is critical in a race situation. It can be the difference between a drive through or not. Slow you driving down a little and really concentrate on the consistency with valid laps. A racing drivers main skill has to be able to achieve similar lap times lap after lap. Drop your speed 10% and achieve these valid laps to move on with your training.

This will tighten the gap in your corner exit performance. For instance, experimenting with a slightly later braking zone can unlock more consistent speed retention. Example

----------------------

28/08/2025
Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.

Extra - To gain an edge, work on holding higher speeds through corners by delaying braking and keeping the throttle engaged longer. This approach will minimize the delta on corner exits, giving you a stronger drive onto the straights. As an example, maintaining steady throttle pressure through the apex can lead to a noticeable boost in exit momentum. Example

02/07/2025
Your racing lines aren't taking full advantage of the track. Stay wide on the entry, don't drift towards the apex, wait for your turn in point then eyeball the apex and hug the apex kerb and then determine a good exit acceleration point to take advantage of the whole width on the track on exit. You normally manage to get two out of three parts correct. i.e. entry and apex or entry and exit but miss the apex. It is when you manage to hit all three is where you increase the radius of the corner and give the car the chance to carry faster speeds.

Extra - You are often lifting off in high speed corners. This is a sign of lack of confidence and commitment. To be fast you have to trust the car and the downforce at speed. Try to stay flat in some of these corners - sometimes it is actually better for stability. Example

----------------------

04/06/2025
Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Also try to be quicker getting on the throttle on the exits (not just in chicanes). Remember gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.

Extra - We've noticed that your trail braking can improve. In racing, being smooth is important to keep the car balanced and the grip levels high. While the first attack on the brakes is supposed to be very quick, releasing the brakes is a slow and smooth process. Try to start releasing the brakes at around the turn-in point and do it in a gradual motion until you reach the apex. Example

----------------------

21/05/2025
Really sorry for the delay on the update.
Overall a good combination assessment, well done! There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Work hard on your braking, your braking points are often good, but you can be quicker on the brake pedal. Also there are a few segments where you need to brake harder, especially in those heavy braking zones whre you can use 100% brake pressure.
Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.

Extra - You're often turning too early into some corners, even though the Porsche is a car that rotates well there, you need a straighter corner exit to compensate for any oversteer under acceleration.
You can also see in this example, your early turn-in made you go deeper on that firs corner's exit, which compromises your racing line for the rest of the chicane and into segment 6.
Aim at staying wider for longer, take full advantage of the track's width and trail brake well into the corner to carry some speed and rotate the car.
Good luck and have fun on track!

Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far.

You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!

Extra - Explore the opportunities of the track, there is extra width on exit on a number of segments that you are able to use, this will aid you as you'll be able to get on full throttle just that little bit quicker as the car won't be fighting the corner as much due to the gentler angle. Watch those braking points as well to get the benefit from the previous straight as much as possible - example

----------------------

24/04/2025
Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.

Extra - We've observed that you could enhance your trail braking technique. Maintaining braking smoothness is key in racing to keeping the car balanced and maximising grip. You should apply the brakes sharply at first, but then release them gradually. Begin easing off the brakes right as you start turning into the corner, and continue this slow release until you hit the apex. Here's an example:

----------------------

09/04/2025
Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.

Extra - You often accelerate too late and that cost you a lot of time. You aren't as fast to 100% with your throttle which is affecting your top speed on the subsequent straight. Practice a fast but smooth acceleration all the way to 100% throttle using as much of the track exit as available so that you can have as straight a wheel as possible. This will allow the car to use most of it's power for forward acceleration. Example

Extra - You tend to brake too early and gently. In this example you sort of build to your full strength progressively. This is not really 100% and there is more room to push. Try your best to brake more firmly to begin with and trail off deeper into the corner. You should be able to pick later reference points once you master this. Example

----------------------

16/01/2025
Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress.  Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

Extra - Here you turn in too late. This means your entry is compromised because you have to use a tighter radius. For corners where exits onto the straight are critical you want to be apexing later like this but not here where there is a corner following. Example

----------------------

10/01/2025
Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.

Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.

We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.

Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.

The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.

If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"

Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.

Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
