This is a pass. Sometimes you really hit the throttle perfectly. There are a few hesitations but in general you are on the right track. As always, it is about the consistency of this. It is common for throttle work to be a more evolved process. Trickier to master and stay focused. When you achieve a good acceleration point then you'll be half way to achieving the desired smooth acceleration with no lifting off.
Extra -
You are braking too hard in the second part of the chicane, causing your speed to drop more than optimal a bit of time as a result. Try and let the car roll into the corner without any input from the pedals rather than braking, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the chicane and gain more time overall. - Example
----------------------
29/07/2026
You need some work in this area, there were multiple times in one lap were you were getting on the power and having to lift off on exit. Practice hard and be extremely conscious of when you are lifting off the throttle (usually on corner exit). Try not to drive at 100% aggression. Back off a little until you get the feeling of pressing the throttle pedal in one direction throughout the corner exit. This is all about not lifting off the throttle.
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure in the chicane, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try and brake with less pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the chicane and gain more time overall. - Example

Back off a little until you get the feeling of pressing the throttle pedal in one direction throughout the corner exit. This is all about not lifting off the throttle.
Extra -
There are too many occasions where you a lifting off the throttle in flat out corners, costing you time unnecessarily, which also affects your exit speed onto the straights. Try keep the throttle fully planted, especially during the flat out corners, to maintain a higher top speed and avoid losing free laptime. - Example
----------------------

Nicely done, you show that consistency is there. Work on this more with more longer sessions of 20+ laps as ones concentration sometimes affects ones consistency in these longer sessions. This skill is important as you work towards your second Combination Assessment.
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking with less pressure so you can carry a higher minimum speed through the corner, gaining you more time overall. - Example
----------------------
16/06/2026
Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
You are too slow getting back on full throttle on corner exits, causing your exit speed to be compromised and costing you a significant amount of time as a result. Try applying the throttle quicker as you reach the apex, so you can accelerate quicker as you exit the corner, gaining you more time overall due to carrying a higher exit speed. - Example
----------------------

The lines are good (there is still room to get tighter though) and your braking points are good. Your mid chicane acceleration is ok, in some chicanes you'll be able to get a bit more out of this section, use that short period to get a short burst of speed but remember the final exit is all important. Try not to come completely off the throttle when not necessary, sometimes you'll be able to just release the throttle 30-50% instead. Also, remember it is your exit speed that is of the most importance, concentrate on this.
Extra -
You are braking too hard, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking with less pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the chicane, gaining you more time overall as a result of carrying more speed. - Example

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra -
You are braking with a bit too much brake pressure, causing your speed at the apex to be significantly lower than optimal and costing you a lot of time as a result. Try applying less brake pressure so you can carry more speed through the corner and gain more time overall by maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example
----------------------

Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra -
You are taking too much of a shallow line and braking too late, causing you to have to apply more brake pressure. The shallow line and harsher braking gives you a slower exit as a result, costing you significant time. Try start more on the outside to open the corner more, and brake a bit earlier but lighter, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall. - Example
----------------------

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps, the more the better! 💪
Extra -
Be careful with applying too much brake pressure in the faster speed corners, as this causes your speed to be reduced significantly more than optimal, costing you a lot of time. Try braking with less pressure so you can maintain carry more speed through the corner, gaining you time. - Example
----------------------

Fantastic racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apex's. Great job using the whole width of the track. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can slowly tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are nailing the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up!
Extra -
Be careful with applying too much brake pressure, as this causes your speed to be reduced significantly more than optimal, costing you a lot of time. Try braking slightly earlier, with a bit less pressure, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner, gaining you time. This will also be your next assessment. - Example

26/03/2026
Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly later, but that seems to be as a result of a lower top end speed, potentially due to the setup. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress. Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra -
Be careful of where you are braking on track. Sometimes you are braking in the middle of the track, which puts you in a shallower line on the entry of the corner, and hurts your exit due to a lower exit speed and costs you a lot of time. Try and position your car more to the outside of the track when braking so you can open the corner more and carry more speed through, gaining you more time. - Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
