Improve race technique.

Good to see the first session and we have plenty we can learn from it. The initial mistakes that you make are ones that can quickly bring your lap times down. Practice your braking points. Concentrate on the corner strategy. Hard and fast on the brakes, then when you are taking the apex, at this point get on the gas.
Choose a track of your choice and really learn the braking points. This can be achieved by following our track guides on the youTube channel or comparing your current braking points with the reference lap. Nail the braking points, memorise them and try for a solid consistency.

It goes without saying that braking later reduces your lap time(assuming you make the corner). Even corners where the reference lap approaches the braking phase at a higher speed, you sometimes brake earlier. Focus on keeping your steering wheel straight to be able to brake as late as possible.
25% of the mistakes this week were due to braking too early and not quickly enough
A perfect example can be seen through segment 1.
As you practice the laps and start to learn your braking points. Compare regularly against the reference lap to see if you can afford to start braking a little later without sacrificing exit speeds. Remember it is all about retaining your pace through the corner and understanding where compromises can be taken to get the speed on when you hit the fast sections.

Being too early on the throttle is a contradictory mistake. Youwant to get the full gas quickly but not at the expense of possiblewheel spin or having to come off the gas.
Nearly a quarter of your mistakes are due to being too early on the throttle
This is a perfect example of how your desire to reach full throttle quickly is actually costing you time on the track. Segment 3, shows us that the very slight early application of the throttle was too much and you didn't push yourself to full throttle quickly.
It is important to trust your speed through the corners and continually test the limits of the car. Use your senses to gauge tire traction and note how early and quickly you can get on the gas.

Sounds similar to mistake 2 however, this is to do with your ability to quickly accelerate out of the corner.
21% of your mistakes arise from being too late to full throttle
Segment 10 is a good example of how you apply your throttle. Your mistake is due to not maintaining a smooth, fast acceleration to 100% throttle.
Take a moment to watch one of our videos that emphasises the need to get to full throttle quickly. Think smooth but fast, on /off the throttle will nearly always be slower than quick and smooth.
