Improve basic driving technique.

Great that we've got this first session under the belt. There are a number of interesting points that we've found in the telemetry data and this leads to a number of areas where you'll be able to improve. Follow the instructions and hints in the mistakes and assigned task. Plenty of focused practice will bring your lap times down.
The basis of a good corner strategy is hitting your braking points, hard and consistently. This will help develop the rest of the corner phases. From trail braking to corner exit. For the moment, let's not get over ourselves. Practice sets of 5 laps at a go. After each set pop back to the Track Titan analysis and see where you are still making your mistakes. This first week concentrate on your braking points and racing line. These are two areas where you can mimic the reference lap quite well. Use the width of the track and brake straight. Hard on the brakes, soft off them.

Full throttle is where the speed is. As long as you have control, the general aim is to get to full throttle as quickly as possible.
16% of all of your mistakes are due to getting to 100% too slowly.
An example in segment 7, getting to full throttle will be quicker and can shave up to two tenths off your time.
Here is a video explaining the importance of getting to full throttle quickly.

A good mistake to make since it's easy to fix! You simply need to find a slightly later braking point to maximize your lap time potential.
13% of your mistakes are attributed to braking too late. With over 38% of errors related to your general braking technique.
Look at where you brake on segment 4, as a whole, the corner is well handled. There are a number of factors that cost you a couple of tenths but mainly it is the braking point.
It can be a fine balance between too early and too late on the brakes. Sometimes, depending on the corner, 5cms difference in braking point can lose you a tenth of a second. Even though you got on the brakes earlier than the reference lap, they managed to get to full throttle more aggressively and quicker than your first half of the corner.

The mistake of turning in too early is directly linked to not trail braking. When this skill is mastered then the available racing line will change significantly.
Around 9% of your errors are linked to turning in too early.
A good example can be found in segment 13. Notice your line compared to the blue racing line.
Trusting your car is one of the most important things you can do. This means that you should specifically test using the track width and how to use that space to your advantage. For example, if you are on a track with wide turns, you can use this to your advantage by staying out wide until the last possible moment before braking and turning in. This will give you more space to work with and will help you to maintain speed through the turn.
