Improve consistency and race technique.

Good to see that the last weeks errors are not reappearing this week. That is a fine accomplishment. Over time a few common mistakes we come back but then it is just a matter of adjusting your style and technique on each of the tracks that you train on to minimise the issues. Everything is about fine tuning your technique to shave tenths off your time.
We do now find there are other mistakes that we need to look at. A couple of these are fundamental on how you will be handling your corners.
The temptation is to brake later and later, however this is often counterintuitive. If you try to brake too late you'll always be fighting the car to maintain control. A little earlier on the brakes and then you'll be able to push your throttle to get to maximum potential speed on the exit.
This weeks practice should focus on maximising this exit speed. So for the next track that you choose to train on. We are looking to maximise your speed on the straights and this all comes from your corner exit. Choose 2 or 3 corners that come before a nice fast section. Drive a couple of laps then refer back to the Track Titan analysis and write down the top speeds you hit after these corners. The aim is to try and beat these top speeds in your 2nd and 3rd attempts.

Full throttle is where the speed is. As long as you have control, the general aim is to get to full throttle as quickly as possible.
29% of all of your mistakes are due to getting to 100% too slowly.
An example in segment 4, getting to full throttle will be quicker and can shave up to two tenths off your time.
Here is a video explaining the important of getting to full throttle quickly.

A good mistake to make since it's easy to fix! You simply need to find a slightly later braking point to maximize your lap time potential.
24% of your mistakes are attributed to braking too late. With over 52% of errors related to your general braking technique.
Look at where you brake on segment 1, as a whole, the corner is well handled. There are a number of factors that cost you a couple of tenths but mainly it is the braking point.
It can be a fine balance between too early and too late on the brakes. Sometimes, depending on the corner, 5cms difference in braking point can lose you a tenth of a second. Even though you got on the brakes earlier than the reference lap, they managed to get to full throttle more aggressively and quicker than your first half of the corner.

Braking too much is lost tenths on track. The balance between slowing enough for a corner and retaining optimal grip requires practice and experience, often a corner can be taken faster than expected.
Over 24% of your mistakes are related to being on the brakes for too long.
Segment 2 time is lost by being on the brakes a little too long and your trail braking technique. Fine adjustments and nailing your braking points will shave a tenth of
Brake a little earlier than normal and check your deltas to see if the extra speed that you can gain on the corner exit is beneficial over the subsequent segments. Remember the most time is gained on corner exit not corner entry. Biggest win for you here though is not staying on the brakes too long.
