We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra - You are sometimes hesitating a lot when getting back on throttle, costing you a lot of time and speed on the straight. Try applying full throttle quicker so you can carry more speed down the straight, gaining you time overall as a result. - Example

There were quite a few errors that need addressing. Firstly look closely at your gear choices, has there were many times that you drop into too low a gear. This will be impacting your lap times significantly. Braking points were generally good, a few mistakes but your need to keep an eye on how quickly you brake. This was sometimes too slow. Enjoy the high downforce car and trust its stopping power. A bit more practice, especially on your gear choices and you'll be moving onto your next plan.
Extra - You are carrying too much speed into the corners, as you are not on the brakes hard enough, and you are braking too late. This causes you to go very deep into the corner and miss the apex completely. Brake earlier, and much harder. You also need to use full throttle on the exit. You are losing a lot of speed by being under 50% throttle, versus 100% throttle. Have a look at the reference to see what you should practice. - Example

Overall performance in this assessment did not meet the required standard to progress to the next training plan. There were inconsistencies across the lap that affected your overall pace and control. While some sections showed potential, the combination of skills needs further refinement to reach the necessary consistency. Keep practicing with focused sessions, review your telemetry for patterns, and build toward greater reliability lap after lap. With continued effort, you'll be ready to advance soon.
Extra - Even though your apexes were really good, it is important also to get the width on entry and exit from the corners, work on this as you look at the second aspect of your braking. Example
----------------------

Some more work is needed before we move on here. Don't worry though, these combination assessments are some of the hardest assignments in the Premium plan. Have a look at the advice bellow and let's give this assignment another go.
Extra - You aren't aggressive enough when getting back on power. Have a look at this linked segment (example) and see how the reference lap quickly applies the throttle, while you apply slowly and carefully. This costs you time under acceleration and down the straights. A bit of work here and you'll see several tenths come off your lap times 💪
Make sure you are maximising the tracks width, as you are leaving lots of margin to the outside of the road. This makes the corner a lot tighter than it needs to be and costs you lots of time both through the corner and down the following straight.
----------------------

Good corner gear choices. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control dropping one gear lower or staying a gear higher. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times.
So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment.
Extra - You're often quite aggressive with the brake and throttle inputs (example). Especially in a car like the 190E EVO II, which has a significant amount of body roll, being smooth is really important, even though you have ABS on. Not only for stability, but also to conserve the car's momentum through a corner.
Focus on smoothing out your inputs, apply the throttle gradually, but with confidence at the corner exit to avoid wheel spin; and also see where you don't need to use 100% brake pressure, often times it's better to brake earlier, but smoother. Also, remember to gradually release the brakes as you turn into the corner to maintain balance and grip at the corner entry.
----------------------
28/01/2026
A bit more adjustment is needed here. You frequently shift into a gear that's too low for the corner, which costs you time. Reflect on the gear choices from the reference lap and experiment with maintaining control in those gears. This should help improve your segment times.
Extra - You're rolling onto the throttle prematurely, leading to front-end push and requiring you to ease off. Delay the initial application slightly, then be bolder and smoother as you squeeze on the power. Example
----------------------
15/01/2026
Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra - Getting on the power too soon is inducing understeer, causing you to back off the throttle mid-corner. Wait a touch longer before committing, then apply the throttle more assertively yet progressively. Example
----------------------
01/01/2026
Please drive longer sessions. Aim for at least 10 laps per session to get a proper review, otherwise we cannot see your best efforts.
Extra - Use the width of the track. Every opportunity to test the limits of the track should be used. There is room both on entry and exit to the corner to go wider. Example
----------------------
17/12/2025
Great job, your apexes are looking good. Through the longer corners you were hitting the apexes slightly too early, but nothing major. Well done and best of luck with the next assingment.
Extra - Sometimes, it's better to brake a bit earlier with less pressure, but for longer. This allows for better weight transfer and avoids unsettling the car. There were a few corners like this but you were braking heavily and quickly. Try to copy the reference laps brake shape for a bit and see how you get on. - example
----------------------
03/12/2025
In some corners your braking is fine, however you are braking too late in most corners and using too much pressure. Let's work on this as we progress to the next assignment. Good luck and have fun!
Extra - You can be more aggressive when getting back on throttle. You are waiting too long to get back the accelerator. If you can get on it earlier you find time not only under acceleration but also down the straights. - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
