Your consistency of reaching 100% throttle as quickly as the reference lap was very good. You have mastered a technique here that many drivers find hard. Keep working through the items on the Previous Plans list that you struggle with most and you'll be knocking even more time off your laps.
You are lifting off too much before the braking zone, costing you free laptime. That lift off causes your speed to decelerate where you could still be on full throttle for longer, giving you a higher top speed for longer as a result. Try keep the throttle on for longer until you have to brake, rather than leaving a pause between the two pedals. This will help you carry more speed before braking, gaining you more time overall. - Example

A nice improvement here. You show a smoother movement on the majority of segments. Just be aware that it is very easy to slip on this area. That smoothness of steering (as well as braking and throttle) will help you maintain a balance / weighted car. This combined with ensuring your use the full width of the track might help shave another few tenths off your time.
Extra -
You are not using the full width of the track on corner entry, causing you to have to brake earlier and harder in order to make the apex and not run wide, which also affects your exit as you cannot get back on full throttle as quickly as you could be. Try position your car more towards the outside of the track so you can open the corner more, allowing you brake later, and maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner, with a quicker throttle input on exit, gaining you more time overall as a result. - Example
----------------------
11/05/2026
Decent use of trail braking, by releasing the brake slowly to help rotate the car around sharper hairpins and get back on the throttle smoothly. This will help shave tenths off your time as you are setting yourself up well for the corner exit. Try also to be a little flexible about the power of your braking, remember of faster corners you can avoid braking all the way to 100%. I would like to see you be a bit smoother with this technique as you are still a bit inconsistent.
Extra -
You are entering the chicane with too much speed, causing you to have a compromised run on the exit due to entering the corner too hot. Try brake more for the corner entry, so you can get back on throttle earlier on exit, maintaining a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall. - Example

As more skills are added to the combination assessments they naturally become harder. Essentially there are more areas where errors can be seen. You did an extremely good job last week and managed to pass. If you look back at your telemetry you'll be able to spot small improvements that are needed. For example, sometimes just a slight hesitation on the throttle as you accelerate or missing a tight apex.
Extra -
You are braking too lightly and in the middle of the track, causing you to overshoot the corner as you are carrying too much speed by not using the most of your brakes, and not taking the ideal line on corner entry. Try braking with more pressure to slow the car more efficiently, and try take a wider entry for the corner so you can have the best run through the corner, with a higher minimum speed, gaining you time. - Example
----------------------
13/04/2026
This is a pass. Well done, your throttle technique was good. There were some times it was a little off compared to the reference lap, however that was also due to the fact that your track temps were much higher. We will move onto the next assignment now. Best of luck and have fun!
Extra -
Often, you are dropping a gear too low through corners which costs you time under acceleration as you lose time having to upshift again. Try experimenting with a higher gear and see what works best. - example
----------------------
31/03/2026
Impressively consistent race times, showcasing your dedication and skill. This consistent performance is a crucial asset as you prepare for your upcoming Combination Assessment. Keep up the great work, it's evident that you're on the right track towards achieving your goals.
Extra -
Be careful with braking with too much pressure, as this causes your speed to be slightly lower than optimal, and costs you time. In turn 4 at St. Petersburg, you lost about 2 tenths as your speed was too low. Try braking slightly earlier so you don't have to use as much brake pressure approaching the corner, and it will also allow you to maintain a higher minimum speed. - Example

Sorry for the delay on the update.
Nice improvement, well done! Your racing lines are starting to look like you have good knowledge of the tracks. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed.
Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
At Philip Island, you're usually choosing a wider entry into the hairpins and long corners, which can cost you a bit of time there but in theory should set you up for a faster exit. However, you're not capitalizing on that because you're often too early on the throttle. You'll then need more time to reach full throttle and end up not gaining any time on the exit despite the sacrifice at the corner entry - Example.
If you want to keep using this line, you'll have to be a bit more patient on the throttle. During the practice sessions, try to let the car coast a bit near the apex before accelerating. Make sure you're able to accelerate smoothly and quickly reach full throttle. Lap by lap coast less and less until you're back at full speed. Make sure that you're able to reach full throttle in a controlled, but quick manner without having to lift off later on to avoid running wide. If that happens, step back a bit, let the car coast and make sure you're lining up the car correctly for the exit.
Good luck!

Your racing lines aren't taking full advantage of the track. Stay wide on the entry, don't drift towards the apex, wait for your turn in point then eyeball the apex and hug the apex kerb and then determine a good exit acceleration point to take advantage of the whole width on the track on exit. You normally manage to get two out of three parts correct. i.e. entry and apex or entry and exit but miss the apex. It is when you manage to hit all three is where you increase the radius of the corner and give the car the chance to carry faster speeds
Extra -
Looks like you need to do plenty of work still on your braking points. This is the most important area to always get right on every single session. Even if you're trying a new car, you'll be able to judge very quickly by checking back to a reference lap to see if you're on mark or you're braking far too early.
Have a look at this session; it should help you see that you're braking too early but also getting on the throttle too late. - example

Good control through the chicanes. Chicanes are a great insight into a drivers skill level as, it requires a good mastery of all skills, very quickly. Your racing line is good and your mid chicane acceleration is great. Also try to be quicker getting on the throttle on the exits (not just in chicanes). Remember gear choice is especially important in chicanes due to accelerating from slow speeds.
Extra - One area to target is improving your minimum speed in corners, which relies heavily on braking later and staying committed to the throttle through the turn. This will tighten the gap in your corner exit performance. For instance, experimenting with a slightly later braking zone can unlock more consistent speed retention. Example

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra - One area to target is improving your minimum speed in corners, which relies heavily on braking later and staying committed to the throttle through the turn. This will tighten the gap in your corner exit performance. For instance, experimenting with a slightly later braking zone can unlock more consistent speed retention. Example

06/01/2026
Your gear choices are good. Well done. Sometimes in high speed corners you dropped a gear too low, but through all other corners you were in the correct gear. Good luck with the next assignment!
Extra - When braking try to be more consistent with your brake pressure. When braking you want to apply the brakes quickly, hold the peak pressure (this changes depending on the corner) and then release quickly again. Currently, you are braking a lot, then lifting off, the braking more again and lifting off. This can unsettle the car and means you have to brake earlier. Make sure to compare with the reference lap in between sessions and have a look at your brake inputs. - example
----------------------
22/12/2025
Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra - Here you turn in too late. This means your entry is compromised because you have to use a tighter radius. For corners where exits onto the straight are critical you want to be apexing later like this but not here where there is a corner following. Example
----------------------
08/12/2025
A little more work is needed here. There are some good segments however too many times your brake pressure is a little off the refrence. Often you are a little late getting back on throttle as well. You're super close to a pass though. Keep up the good work and we'll be on the next assingment in no time!
Extra - You aren't using enough brake pressure right now which means you have to brake earlier. If you use more brake pressure you can brake later. When braking you want to press the brake quickly, then hold at peak pressure (pressure changes depending on the corner), then release quickly. Don't forget to compare with the reference lap to see what your doing differently. - example
----------------------
24/11/2025
You're apexes are good, there are few a corners where you are half a cars width too wide at the apex so let's keep working on those as we progress. Keep it up!
Extra - You're entry speed is regularly too fast, try braking a little earlier or using a bit more brake pressure to slow to car down more. This will really help with your corner exits and sequences of fast corners like at Suzuka. - example
----------------------
10/11/2025
Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress. Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
