We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

A good assignment, well done! Be careful with your gear choices, there were quite a few times when you were a gear lower than the reference lap. That can slow you down on the apex, or give you some wheelspin on the exit. These things sometimes come down to driving style, but go through your telemetry, register the places where you can choose a higher gear and see how that affects your lap time.
So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!
Extra - Your inputs are often just a bit too aggressive and in fast corners like these two, that can have some harsher consequences. This is a great segment to practice smoother driving, gauging if you should lift off the throttle later and use the brakes, or do it earlier like the reference driver and bet on a smoother style. Both can be advantageous in different scenarios, so take this knowledge and experiment different methods on this segment to see if you can get an edge on the reference driver.
Good luck!

Your braking is looking really good. You can brake a little later by using less pressure in some corners. Be careful when you get back on throttle, you are often getting on it too early and having to lift off or go deep on exit.
Extra - You are often turning too much compared to the reference lap. Try reducing your steering inputs by 20-25 degrees. Too much steering input creates understeer and increases tyre wear. - example

Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra - Use the width of the track. Every opportunity to test the limits of the track should be used. There is room both on entry and exit to the corner to go wider. Example

Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress. Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - Sometimes you're turning your steering wheel a bit too much, mainly in the tighter corners. This can cause a lot of understeer since you're essentially making the tyres slide on the track. Try to reduce your steering input and then slightly turn a little more each lap. Once you see that the car is not responding to your inputs, you've found the tyres' grip limit. Now you only need to stay under that limit. Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
