Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready. Good luck and have fun on track
You're braking too early and too hard, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result, as you have no speed to take the corner. Try adjusting to a later braking point and brake with less pressure, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall just by carrying more speed. - Example

Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress. Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra -
You are steering too late, causing you to be wide on the first part of the corner, missing the apex, and costing you time. Try turn in earlier so you can attack the apex and gain more time by sticking to a more optimal racing line. - Example
In the same area, you are also braking early, but you then hold the brakes longer, releasing them the same time as the reference time. This would be fine at the same braking points, but as you are braking earlier, by the time you reach the apex, you are actually slower than the reference lap. By braking at a later point, you can carry more speed into the corner, allowing you to have a similar apex speed as the reference lap by the time you release the brakes.

A little more work is needed here. Currently, your braking points are too inconsistent. Sometimes your braking points are good, other times too early. When driving, compare your laps to the reference lap and focus on the braking graph to see what improvements you can make. Give this assignment another go and see how you get on.
Extra -
Have a look at your braking, you are using too much pressure and are pressing the brakes multiple times in one braking zone. You want to apply the brakes quickly, hold the peak pressure (this changes depending on the corner) and then release quickly again. - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
