We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁
We noticed that your logger isn't on the latest version and this might be affecting your sessions that are being recorded. This article explains how to upgrade to the latest version, if the system hasn't managed to automatically upgrade you.

You only did 3 laps that weren't in a race session. Unfortunately, that's not enough for us to make a good assessment of your driving skills. Please drive a few more laps in practice/hotlap sessions.
Race sessions aren't very good for us to analyse due to the many unpredictable variables that can affect your driving during a race.
Extra - From your short session, we noticed you're not fully releasing the throttle in the braking zones. A little bit of throttle can be good to help keep the car stable or to help the car rotate, but you're applying too much throttle. You can see in this example, as soon as you release the brakes, the car almost gained some speed due to the throttle input you already had.
Besides that, your throttle never goes below an odd 24.64% and stays very constant whenever it reaches that level. Might it be something wrong from your configurations? We also noticed you might be running an older version of the Track Titan logger. That might be one of the reasons for the odd throttle input, although your other graphs indicate otherwise. Nicely driven! You improved in these 4 key areas over the last few weeks. There will always to improvements and adjustments that you can make. It is all about fine tuning those braking points, racing line and throttle application. Your gears look decent but always check back to the telemetry. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra - You sometimes fail to get back to full throttle in the fast right-hander here. In an F1 car you need to learn to trust the downforce through corners like these. Example

You're almost there! Just need to practice a bit more for a good pass on this assignment. Pay attention to your braking points, you're often braking too early. Also pay attention to your gear choices since you're often a gear too low relative to the reference lap (possibly caused by slowing down too much due to braking early). And be careful on the brakes. You had a few occasions where you were braking too hard in fast corners.
Extra - As a consequence of braking early, you're having to accelerate earlier on the corner exit too, but sometimes you're applying too much throttle or too early, which is causing you to carry too much speed at the mid-corner phase. This in turn is slowing you down on the exit since you're then taking longer to reach full throttle.
Here's a good example for you to take a look at.

There were quite a few errors that need addressing. Firstly look closely at your gear choices, has there were many times that you drop into too low a gear. This will be impacting your lap times significantly. Some braking points were good, however there were a few mistakes where you could have braked a lot later than you did. Enjoy the high downforce car and trust its stopping power. A bit more practice, especially on your gear choices and you'll be moving onto your next plan.
Extra - Make sure you aren't braking too much for high speed corners. There were a couple of instances where you reached 100% brake pressure, while the reference lap was at around 40%. This is a relatively easy skill to learn, you just have to find exactly where the limit is and be able to maintain that each lap. Example

Good corner gear choices. Sometimes you are one gear higher than the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control dropping one gear lower. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times.
So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment.
Extra - You can still sometimes carry the brakes a bit further into the corner, because you're carrying a bit too much speed in the mid-corner phase, which is then hurting your corner exit. By carrying the brakes into the corner, you'll be reducing your speed in the mid-corner phase. We'll still leave the previous comment here, since the two situations are linked together - You are usually releasing the brakes too abruptly on the corner entry and are having to sometimes reapply the brakes due to it.
To carry a good speed into the corner, you need to trail brake. This consists of slowly releasing the brakes as you increase the steering angle in the corner. The tyres will not have enough grip for hard braking and turning, so you need to carry less brake pressure in the corner entry so you can make the car slow down all the way to the apex.
Here's a good example for you to take into account.

Sorry for the late update.
Great lap times again. You are producing exciting results. Your braking is very good, often you braking a little less i.e. not hitting 100% pressure compared to the reference lap, this would often be a problem but you are achieving this whilst also not being too quick on the corner entry. Enjoy your next training session, this should be straight forward for you but remember to study the telemetry to find any flaws.

A bit of a narrow pass, but still a pass. You missed quite a few apexes and this is something that can quickly ruin a race, so beware of it and keep practising!
Extra - There were a few occasions when you were carrying a bit too much speed in the mid-corner phase and this is making you lose quite a bit of time on the corner exit. By carrying too much speed, besides it affecting your racing line, you'll have to wait for longer to start accelerating out of the corner and, even though you're accelerating from a higher speed, your acceleration will be slower.
Try to carry the brakes a bit further into the corner to help fix this issue. Here's an example for you to take into account.

Sorry for the (very) late update.
You can brake later in most corners, but you're quite close to the optimal braking point and also quite consistent with it, so well done, a good pass!
Extra - You're usually turning your steering wheel too much, mainly in faster corners. This causes quite a bit of understeer since you're essentially making the front tyres slide. Because of that, you're having to slow down more in these corners.
To correct this, reduce your steering input by a lot and gradually increase the steering angle each lap. Once the steering wheel starts feeling lighter and you see the car is not turning more, you've found the grip limit of the front tyres. Now all you need to do is stay within the limit.
Here's an example for you to take into account.

Your braking points were sometimes really good but you were braking too early a few too many times. Try driving just a little slower and really learning and nailing those braking points. Also, it would be a idea to continue breaking your sessions up into sets of about 8-12 laps and then referring back to the reference lap in between.Good luck and you'll be onto the next racing skill.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, on this day you'll be able to see your feedback from the instructors (it could be the next day aswell), your score for the assigned task and your progress.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
