A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
You are braking a bit early, and holding the brakes for too long, causing your speed to drop more than optimal and costing you a bit of time as a result. Try braking at a later point to carry more speed under braking, then release the brakes quicker as you reach the apex, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall. - Example

Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!
Extra -
You are not using enough throttle input mid-corner, costing you a bit of time as you are not able to carry the same amount of speed as the reference lap. Try applying more throttle so you can carry more speed through the corner, gaining you more time overall as a result. - Example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Occasionally you were applying the brakes when not needed. A quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - You are braking too hard into some of the faster corners, causing your apex speed to be significantly lower than optimal and costing you a lot of time as a result. Try applying less brake pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall as a result of carrying more speed through the corner. - Example

Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra - You are not steering enough at the apex, causing you to run wider than optimal in the corner and costs you time as your apex speed was lower than ideal. Try steering a bit more to get the car rotated better for the corner, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time. - Example

Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress. Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - Be careful with holding onto the brakes for too long, as sometimes you are doing this and it causes your speed to be significantly lower than optimal on the exit, costing you time. Try come off the brakes quicker so you can maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time. - Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
