Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
You are not making the most of the throttle in a flat out corner, you are about 90% throttle, costing you free time as a result. Try make sure you have the throttle fully planted, to get the most acceleration out of your car, and preventing you from losing free lap time. - Example

Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra -
You are not steering quickly enough, causing you to run wide and miss the apex, costing you a significant amount of time. Try steering earlier into the corner so you can clip the apex and avoid running wide, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed, gaining you more time overall as a result. - Example
Another thing to note in the same section, you seem to be resting your foot on the throttle whilst braking, which is hindering you braking performance. Try make sure you are only using one pedal at a time to make the most of either pedal that you are using.

Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra -
You are holding too much brake pressure for too long, causing your speed to be lower than optimal at the apex and costing you time as a result. You also miss the apex even with the lower speed as you are not steering enough. Try releasing the brakes quicker and steer quicker, allowing you to carry more speed into the apex, gaining you time overall due to maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

No assessment.

Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on. Important! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

Your trail braking can improve in a few segments (example). You're often releasing the brakes too early and/or too soon, causing you to carry a bit too much speed into the corner and sometimes even reapply the brakes after letting them go. This in particular affects the car's weight balance and can cause both oversteer and/or understeer.
Maintaining braking smoothness is key in racing to keeping the car balanced and maximising grip. You should apply the brakes sharply at first, but then release them gradually. Begin easing off the brakes right as you start turning into the corner and continue this slow release as you increase the steering angle, until you hit the apex.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
