We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. π

Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra - Brake harder and faster even on the fast corners, try a quick dab instead of your currently longer ease on and off, test these two styles. Example

There are times when you hit the apex perfectly, nice and tight with a good line out of the corner. However, there are too many times when you are not pushing this enough and there is still room to get tighter on the apex. Remember start wide on the entry kerb, sight your apex (late or early apex) and then accelerate so that you need to use the full width of the track. A little more practice and you'll get that feeling for each corner. At that point more experimentation can be done to tweak for small improvements. Try to get a few more laps - a minimum of 20 really is needed to start to see improvements.
Extra - Currently, the main challenge is your tendency to back off the throttle instead of committing to full 100% acceleration. A small adjustment to your line, hugging the apex more closely, will greatly improve this. Example

Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on most of the time. Important! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily.
Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! πͺ

We noticed that your Desktop App logger isn't on the latest version and this might be affecting your sessions that are being recorded. Β This article explains how to upgrade to the latest version, if the system hasn't managed to automatically upgrade you.
π Update Track Titan Logger π
Please ensure you also delete the folders that are indicated in the article.
Extra - Very good start, there are areas that need attention and to break them down at the moment in terms of your current weakness, let's look at how fast you are getting on the brake and your hesitation on corner exit. You are braking well and an area to push is trying to brake just that little bit faster to slow your car down to the desired speed as quickly as possible (obviously without losing traction). This will give you a few more metres as top speed on the previous straight. Also work on your corner exit, it is very important to get the car up to speed as quickly as possible. Hesitation and coming off the throttle during corner exit is cutting into your lap times. Work on your racing line and use as much exit as possible - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
β
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
