Well done, you've shown a good understanding of the skills we've been looking at over the past few weeks. There is still some room for improvement, mainly with regards to your braking technique but we will cover it in more detail in future assignments. For now, let's move onto some more advanced skills. Good luck and have fun!
Currently, your braking is too inconsistent. Sometimes you are braking too late, sometimes too early. Have a look at your data while practicing and focus on your braking over the next few weeks. See what you can do to improve. For example in this linked segment you slow down too much for the corners, but in the first corner you take a bit too much speed and lose time on exit. - example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track đź’Ş

Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra - You're holding the brakes for a bit too long, which causes your speed to drop a bit more than optimal at the apex and costs you a bit of time as a result. Try release the brakes a bit quicker so you can carry a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall due to carrying a bit more speed than what you are currently doing. - Example

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Occasionally you were applying the brakes when not needed. A quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! đź’Ş
Extra - In the penultimate corner, you are braking too late, carrying too much speed as a result and overshoot the corner, costing you a significant amount of time. Try adjusting to an earlier braking point to avoid overshooting the corner, allowing you to clip the apex, and gain more time with a higher minimum speed overall. - Example

Could you please drive more laps? We need about 30 to 50 to get a read of how you are doing, even if you are not driving as part of a specific plan. The instructors are here to help whenever you're ready. Good luck, and hope you have a good time on the track!

Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra - When exiting the final corner at Monza, you stay on the outside of the track, costing you a lot of time just because you are not taking the shortest run to the line. Try get back to the right hand side of the track after the corner exit, so you can gain more time simply by taking the shortest run to the line. - Example

Finding the fastest way through a corner isn’t always about sticking to the line that feels “just right.” Sometimes, pushing closer to the apex unlocks hidden speed. Imagine starting wide, aiming your entry toward the curb, and adjusting when you clip the apex—earlier or later, depending on the turn’s demands. On the exit, let the car drift naturally across the track, using every inch of space. Over time, these adjustments become automatic, and once they do, you can fine-tune your approach to shave off even more time.
Extra - You're not maximising mid-corner velocity because the car isn't hugging the apex tightly enough. Always aim to use the full track limits—wide entry, precise apex touch, wide exit—wherever the car is settled and under control. Example

Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on.
Important! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily.
Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! đź’Ş
Extra - Very nice driving at the moment. You're doing very well. What's interesting is that there are a couple of faults which seem to be costing you quite a lot of time. Mainly, this is your entry and exit lines. You try to take the corner a little bit too tight sometimes, i.e., you don't use the full width of the exit or entry. This is costing you, as your tyres are working harder to maintain traction compared to doing a shallower corner. Try to get your car rotated just a little earlier which will set you up better for the exit - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track đź’Ş
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
