We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. π

A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are one gear off the reference lap, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are leaving the downshifts all at once before the turn in point, which is not an efficient way to use the gears, and is costing you time instead of gaining you time, as you are doing the most braking in the highest gear, which is not slowing the car enough as the engine braking is not as great of a strength compared to if you used a lower gear. Have a look at the reference lap, and try downshift as the revs lights are decreasing, so that you can slow the car more efficiently with the use of engine braking. This will help you gain more time overall. Also, try take most corners one gear lower than what you are currently using. - Example

A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are a gear too high for the corner, sometimes even two. There is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are downshifting too slowly. You reach the apex in 4th gear, where the reference lap is in 1st gear. You are also braking too late, and with a combination of the late downshifts, you overshooting the corner and miss the apex, costing you significant time. Try downshifting much quicker, and brake at an earlier point, so you can avoid overshooting the corner and slow the car quicker, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall. - Example

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Occasionally you were applying the brakes when not needed. A quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! πͺ
Extra -
You are often braking too early and lightly into corners, causing your braking distance to be extended longer than optimal and costing you time, as you are not carrying the same speed as you could be carrying under braking. Try braking later and harder, so you can carry more speed under braking and slow down that speed more efficiently and gain more time. - Example
----------------------
30/03/2026
Your braking is too inconsistent. Sometimes you are showing good technique and other times your braking strength is not where it needs to be for that particular corner. This leads to other mistakes in your driving. Try to improve your consistency for the next assessment so we can move past this stage.
Extra -
You are often braking too early, which causes you to have to get on throttle again to gain more speed, and then apply the brakes again. This costs you a lot of time as the early braking causes your speed to be significantly lower than optimal, and the extra throttle before braking again hurts your run on exit. Try adjust your braking to a later braking point so you can carry more speed under braking, and avoid using the throttle in the braking zone to gain more speed. - Example

Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra -
Brake harder and faster even on the fast corners, try a quick dab instead of your currently longer ease on and off, test these two styles. Example

Sorry for the delay on the update.
Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on. You have clearly got good reference markers. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks with regards to brake pressure and trailbraking to improve lap time further. Take a look at the way the reference driver smoothly bleeds off the brakes when going into a corner. This is better for weight transfer and overall grip.
Extra -
You're often losing time on heavier braking zones by not braking hard enough. GT3 cars have ABS, so you can use 100% brake pressure without worrying about locking the wheels. In ACC, that's really the best way to extract the maximum performance from the brakes (example). Try to apply this on your next practise sessions and see how late you can brake.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track πͺ
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
