A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
You are resting on the brake pedal before the braking zone, causing your speed to be significantly affected as you are limiting the acceleration the car can do, so it remains at a steady speed rather than increasing speed. Try make sure you are not resting on the brake pedal if you are accelerating, so you can make the most of the pedal and gain the most time from it. - Example

Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra -
You are often braking too late, causing you to carry too much speed and run deep into the corner, missing the apex and costing you a considerable amount of time as your exit is significantly compromised as a result of the missed braking point. Try braking at an earlier point to avoid overshooting the corner, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall. - Example

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps, the more the better! 💪
Extra -
You are coming back on throttle too quickly, causing you to carry too much speed at the apex and overshoot the corner as a result, costing you significant time on the exit as your run was compromised due to this. Try be more patient before going back on the throttle, so you can avoid running wide, allowing you to get back on full throttle earlier and carry a higher exit speed, gaining you more time overall. - Example

Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra -
You are releasing the brakes too early, causing you to carry too much speed and overshoot the corner, costing you a significant amount of time. Try holding onto the brakes longer, gradually easing off them as you reach the apex, allowing you to not overshoot the corner and gain more time overall. - Example

Your braking points are good, however you can find more time by holding peak brake pressure for longer. This is good enough to pass though, so we will move onto the next assignment. Best of luck and have fun!
Extra -
You aren't aggressive enough when getting back on power. Have a look at this linked segment (example) and see how the reference lap quickly applies the throttle, while you apply slowly and carefully. This costs you time under acceleration and down the straights. A bit of work here and you'll see several tenths come off your lap times 💪

Could you please run more laps? We need about 30 to 50 to make sure we're getting it right. The instructors are here to help whenever you're ready. Good luck, and hope you have a good time on the track!
Extra -
Your throttle application is delaying your acceleration phase, impacting your straight-line speed. Maximise throttle input earlier to optimise top speed for the next straight. Focus on swift and seamless throttle control, utilising track space efficiently to maintain straight alignment for maximal power transfer and acceleration efficiency. Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
