We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

You've got a solid foundation with your lines, though fine-tuning you could make them even sharper. Braking is on point, but there's potential in the chicanes for better acceleration. Aim for quick spurts of speed where you can, keeping in mind that how you exit these sections defines your success. When possible, consider only partially lifting off the throttle instead of fully disengaging, perhaps by 30-50%. Above all, focus on your exit speed, as it's the key to better lap times.
Extra -
You are too slow getting back on power on the exit of the corner, costing you time as a result of a lower exit speed, which is then carried all the way until the next braking zone. Try getting on the throttle earlier so you can carry a higher exit speed and gain more time overall. - Example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪

You are losing a lot of time in the chicanes. Braking too late is forcing you deep into the first part of the corner. This has a knock on effect of making you get any mid chicane acceleration. Also the car is facing at the wrong angle for your exit thus exit speed suffers as well. Therefore, brake earlier and see if the rest of the chicane comes together.
Extra - You are braking too late, causing you to carry too much speed into the corner and going deep, which then puts you on a shallower line on the next corner, costing you a lot of time as you are not able to maintain as high of a minimum speed as optimal. Try adjust your braking to an earlier braking point to avoid overshooting the first part of the chicane, then position your car towards the middle of the track after the first part of the chicane so you can maintain a higher minimum and carry more speed through the second part of the chicane. - Example

Sorry for the delay on the update.
Nicely driven you improved in these 4 key areas over the last few weeks. There will always to improvements and adjustments that you can make. At the moment you are braking a little slowly, try to get to your desired car speed for the corner quicker you tend to ease off a little too much around 70-85% pressure. Great gear choices and your racing line was very good. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra - There are a couple of places where your racing line can improve. You're often getting the basics right - entry kerb, apex, exit kerb. But sometimes during a lap, a driver must think ahead and adjust their line accordingly. Looking at segment 9 here, you're exiting wide. Due to that, you're getting a tighter entry into segment 10 and need to brake while turning there, which reduces the car's performance on the brakes.
Try instead to exit tighter from segment 9 to then be able to brake in a straight line and therefore later.

Overall performance in this assessment did not meet the required standard to progress to the next training plan. There were inconsistencies across the lap that affected your overall pace and control. While some sections showed potential, the combination of skills needs further refinement to reach the necessary consistency. Keep practicing with focused sessions, review your telemetry for patterns, and build toward greater reliability lap after lap. With continued effort, you'll be ready to advance soon.
Extra - Even though your apexes were really good, it is important also to get the width on entry and exit from the corners, work on this as you look at the second aspect of your braking. Example

Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!
Extra - Nice driving you are pushing hard and the times are starting to show. Work on maintain a smooth steering motion as much as you can. Every small adjustment that you are having to make is costing you a little time. Although tricky, you need to look to also bring your braking markers forward just a little. Very small tweaks across the course of a whole lap and you'll see a little more time coming off your best - example
----------------------
06/10/2025
Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. A quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - There are a few segments where you're accelerating too early. That is then costing you time at the corner exit since you're having to lift off to avoid touching the wall (example). Be patient, try to avoid pressing the throttle too early (before the apex) and try to trail brake a bit further into the corner to help you carry some speed on the entry while also slowing down enough for the apex.
----------------------
18/09/2025
There needs to be a little more speed and urgency in your braking. Sometimes you nail it but on too many occasions there is too much hesitancy. You are braking a little earlier than the reference lap and getting to 100% braking later. Try to press the brake pedal quicker whilst doing your best to maintain traction. Also, try to avoid resting on the brake pedal before fully committing to the braking phase. Practice is needed but it is a skill that is relatively easy to view and adapt to.
Extra - By not aiming for the sharpest possible apex, you're losing precious speed mid-corner. It's crucial to make use of every bit of track space available at the entry, apex, and exit points where your vehicle maintains stability. Example
---------------------
04/09/2025
Your braking is too inconsistent. Sometimes you are showing good technique and other times your braking strength is not where it needs to be for that particular corner. This leads to other mistakes in your driving. Try to improve your consistency for the next assessment so we can move past this stage.
Extra - Even though your apexes were really good, it is important also to get the width on entry and exit from the corners, work on this as you look at the second aspect of your braking. Example
----------------------
21/08/2025
Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra - You are often lifting off in high speed corners. This is a sign of lack of confidence and commitment. To be fast you have to trust the car and the downforce at speed. Try to stay flat in some of these corners - sometimes it is actually better for stability. Example

Sometimes, you nail the perfect line through a corner - clean, precise, and with a strong exit. But often, there’s untapped potential to hug the apex even closer. Begin by approaching wide at the entry curb, locking in on your apex (whether late or early), and then powering out in a way that naturally uses the track’s full width. The lightest of touches on the inside apex kerb will give you the assurance that you are on point. With more laps under your belt, this process will start to feel instinctive. Once you’re consistent, you can refine further, making minor adjustments to shave off extra time. Aim for at least 20 laps to truly settle into a rhythm and see meaningful progress.
Extra - It is important to think of the training assessments as building blocks, each builds on the last one. Therefore there less benefit in getting a great apex if you have compromised your braking point. It is the combination of these that make for fast lap times. It is hard and you'll need to heighten your driving skills but with practice you'll soon find it second nature - example
----------------------
10/07/2025
There are times when you hit the apex perfectly, nice and tight with a good line out of the corner. However, there are too many times when you are not pushing this enough and there is still room to get tighter on the apex. Remember start wide on the entry kerb, sight your apex (late or early apex) and then accelerate so that you need to use the full width of the track. A little more practice and you'll get that feeling for each corner. At that point more experimentation can be done to tweak for small improvements. Try to get a few more laps - a minimum of 20 really is needed to start to see improvements.

Very nice a good improvement over the last couple of weeks, your braking points are sharp and spot on most of the time. Important! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily.
Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - Be very mindful of the lifts that you are making on the throttle. When you see a segment which is taken at full speed, full throttle, try to understand where you can improve. In this case, small changes to your racing line will be the place to start your practice and improvement. Take the first part of this complex a little slower, avoid hitting the kerb too much as it is a fairly tight corner and then this will give you the advantage through the rest of the segment - example
----------------------
12/06/2025
There were some good segments but unfortunately too many missed braking points. Practice trying to be consistent. This is best done by driving a little slower than your maximum. Remember your braking points and try to repeat for 3 laps in a row, always trying to be within a second and a half of the lap before. Only when you achieve this try going a little faster. Repeat his process for many laps but don't forget to put back to the analysis to make sure you aren't making any big mistakes.
Brake hard and fast, never rest your foot on the brake before committing to the braking point.
Good luck and I'm sure with enough laps and the advice above you'll be passing this driving skill.
Extra - Keep an eye on your gear choice. Especially in F1 where drivers are tempted to drop into too low a gear. Often it is work experimenting and remaining one gear higher. You'll find you have more control, less loss of traction and ultimately a better and faster exit out of the corner - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
