You've got a solid foundation with your lines, though fine-tuning you could make them even sharper. Braking is on point, but there's potential in the chicanes for better acceleration. Aim for quick spurts of speed where you can, keeping in mind that how you exit these sections defines your success. When possible, consider only partially lifting off the throttle instead of fully disengaging, perhaps by 30-50%. Above all, focus on your exit speed, as it's the key to better lap times.
Extra -
You're braking with a lot of pressure, causing your car to slow down significantly more than optimal and costing you time as a result. Try apply less brake pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall. - Example

Please drive a track like Zolder so we can analyse your driving in a multitude of different corner/chicane types. Great driving otherwise. Once we tick this box we will be onto the next one in no time.

Currently, you are taking too much speed into the first corner of the chicane which then affects you line into the second bend and costs you even more time on exit. Try braking earlier or adjusting you braking technique to the car you are driving (some cars like theĀ M2 and MX5 brake better at 50-70% brake force), this will allow you to take a better line into the second turn which should then lead to a better exit.
Extra -
Sometimes, it's better to brake a bit earlier with less pressure, but for longer. This allows for better weight transfer and avoids unsettling the car. There were a few corners like this but you were braking heavily and quickly. You found a bit of time under braking but lost time in the corner. Try to copy the reference laps brake shape for a bit and see how you get on. - example

A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited, and the majority of the racing skills learned have been displayed across multiple segments. There are some areas where improvements are needed, which will lower your lap times. Firstly, work on refining your cornering techniques. Mastering this will significantly benefit your overall performance. Secondly, there are several instances where your gear choice could be improved. Learning truly comes from driving, analysing, and then driving again until you feel you've reached a plateau, then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible
Extra -
You can boost your lap times by honing your trail braking skills. The key is to brake smoothly to keep the car composed and preserve grip. Hit the brakes hard initially, then progressively release them as you begin turning, fully off by the apex. For instance, a gradual brake release starting at the turn-in point can help you maintain stability and grip through the corner. Example

Hi, apologises for the delay. Some more work is needed here before we move on. Have a look at the advice bellow and give this assignment another go.
Extra -
There are a couple things to improve on before we move onto the next skill:
1. Gear choices. You are often a gear lower than you need to be through corners which costs you time under acceleration.
2. Braking. You are using 100% brake pressure in most corners. This costs you massive amounts of time. It actives the ABSĀ under heavy braking zones which can decrease braking efficiency and it's not optimal for the cars weight distrubution through corners.
----------------------
20/02/2026
Overall performance in this assessment did not meet the required standard to progress to the next training plan. There were inconsistencies across the lap that affected your overall pace and control. While some sections showed potential, the combination of skills needs further refinement to reach the necessary consistency. Keep practicing with focused sessions, review your telemetry for patterns, and build toward greater reliability lap after lap. With continued effort, you'll be ready to advance soon.
Extra -
Work on improving your trail braking to enhance car control. Smoothly transitioning from heavy braking to a gentle release is essential for balance and grip. Apply sharp braking at the start, then ease off steadily as you turn into the corner, reaching zero brake pressure at the apex. For example, begin lifting off the brakes as you initiate steering to keep the car settled and grippy. Example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track šŖ

Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this.
So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!
Extra - In this segment, use all of the track on entry and try to delay your acceleration a little bit more after the first corner so you can point the car better towards a wider entry into the next one. There, be mindful of your inputs and use some light braking to shift the car's weight forward and rotate it better towards the next apex and a straighter exit.

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OKĀ at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Occasionally you were applying the brakes when not needed.
AĀ quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! šŖ
Extra - This was a close pass not because you particularly doing anything wrong with the power of the braking. The important thing to understand with the braking power is if you brake hard then this has to be for a reason. Ā In your case your faster, harder braking results in you being able to get on the gas sooner than the reference lap does. This is great and sets you up for the advantage of being able to slightly change your braking power and still get on the gas faster. Experiment and find that perfect balance which results in you not losing the 5-10kph of speed that you sometimes do when braking too hard - example
----------------------
17/10/2025
Your braking is too inconsistent. Sometimes you are showing good technique and other times your braking strength is not where it needs to be for that particular corner. This leads to other mistakes in your driving. Try to improve your consistency for the next assessment so we can move past this stage.
Extra - Even though your apexes were really good, it is important also to get the width on entry and exit from the corners, work on this as you look at the second aspect of your braking. Example
----------------------
06/10/2025
Really sorry for the delay.
Good racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can slowly tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are nailing the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up!
Extra - There are a couple of segments where you're too aggressive on the brakes and that's causing you to lose too much speed there (example). Especially with road cars like the Z4, maintaining momentum throughout the corner is really important in racing. Be mindful of how much you need to brake and where you can push the car a bit harder, you can also check the telemetry after your sessions to take note of these small things that can considerably improve your lap time.

Sometimes, you nail the perfect line through a cornerāclean, precise, and with a strong exit. But often, thereās untapped potential to hug the apex even closer. Begin by approaching wide at the entry curb, locking in on your apex (whether late or early), and then powering out in a way that naturally uses the trackās full width. With more laps under your belt, this process will start to feel instinctive. Once youāre consistent, you can refine further, making minor adjustments to shave off extra time. Aim for at least 20 laps to truly settle into a rhythm and see meaningful progress.
Extra - You're sacrificing potential speed in the middle of turns by not cutting the apex as sharply as possible. Maximise the track's width on entry, at the apex, and on exit when the car is under control and stable. Example
----------------------
23/08/2025
Finding the fastest way through a corner isnāt always about sticking to the line that feels ājust right.ā Sometimes, pushing closer to the apex unlocks hidden speed. Imagine starting wide, aiming your entry toward the curb, and adjusting when you clip the apexāearlier or later, depending on the turnās demands. On the exit, let the car drift naturally across the track, using every inch of space. Over time, these adjustments become automatic, and once they do, you can fine-tune your approach to shave off even more time.
Extra - Sometimes you're turning your steering wheel a bit too much, mainly in the tighter corners. This can cause a lot of understeer since you're essentially making the tyres slide on the track. Try to reduce your steering input and then slightly turn a little more each lap. Once you see that the car is not responding to your inputs, you've found the tyres' grip limit. Now you only need to stay under that limit. Example

There are times when you hit the apex perfectly, nice and tight with a good line out of the corner. However, there are too many times when you are not pushing this enough and there is still room to get tighter on the apex. Remember start wide on the entry kerb, sight your apex (late or early apex) and then accelerate so that you need to use the full width of the track. A little more practice and your get that feeling for each corner.
At that point more experimentation can be done to tweak for small improvements. Great commitment to the car and combo keep it!
Extra - Try to avoid the slight delay on the throttle towards the top end. You hesitate a little on the final part of the corner exit. This is a key area where limiting your speed to 100% throttle is costing you time - example
----------------------
11/07/2025
Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on. Important! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! šŖ
Extra - Your car's speed through the corner suffers because you're not hugging the apex closely. Remember to leverage the full width of the track right from the entry, through the apex, and as you exit, particularly where your car feels stable. Example
----------------------
Welcome Back!!
28/06/2025
There were some good segments but unfortunately too many missed braking points. Practice trying to be consistent. This is best done by driving a little slower than your maximum. Remember your braking points and try to repeat for 3 laps in a row, always trying to be within a second and a half of the lap before. Only when you achieve this try going a little faster. Repeat his process for many laps but don't forget to put back to the analysis to make sure you aren't making any big mistakes.
Brake hard and fast, never rest your foot on the brake before committing to the braking point.Ā
Good luck and I'm sure with enough laps and the advice above you'll be passing this driving skill.
Extra - Very important to use as much width of the track as possible. Ā This will allow you to smooth out the corner as much as possible and thus allow your minimum corner speed to be faster. Test the limits, test the kerbs and check your delta and this extra width should really help you - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
ā
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
