17/05/2026 - 14/06/2026
Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.  Good luck and have fun on track

Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.

Extra - You are not braking hard enough, which causes you to overshoot the corner due to carrying too much speed and it means you have to hold the brakes for longer. Try braking harder to slow the car more efficiently, so you can release them quicker and carry a higher minimum speed through the corner, gaining you time overall. - Example

Very good racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can slowly tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are nailing the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up!

Extra - This corner is great to practise the double apex line. Due to its shape, a more "regular" racing line will have a higher chance of missing the timing to accelerate out of the corner and lose time on exit. Besides that, a wide exit here will put you in a bad position for the chicane that follows it.
From this, we can draw a few conclusions about the double apex line. You'll be braking later and turning-in earlier, aiming for an early apex. There, keep trail braking past the apex and let the car run wide at the mid-corner phase. This part is crucial because you need to use the brakes to keep the weight balance on the front wheels to rotate the car. Once you manage to do that, due to the shape of the corner, you'll benefit a lot from the straighter exit line you have ahead, which gives you more control over where you can position the car after the corner, giving you a much better entry into the following chicane.
Give this a couple of tries and then compare your racing line to the reference lap to see if you're hitting the right marks, then compare your deltas to the "regular" racing line.
Not everyone likes the double apex, but in this particular corner, that's usually the best racing line through it.
Good luck!

Welcome Back!

19/08/2024
We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).

The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on. Important! You have clearly got good reference markers. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already flying.  Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

Extra - Your entry speed is slow into this corner. Partly as you lift off too early and brake a bit too hard. This corner is not as slow as you think. Try to carry a gear higher and use the momentum to drive you out the other side. Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.

Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.

We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.

Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.

The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.

If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"

Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.

Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
