Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!

Bonus Focus Point

You are braking too early, causing your speed to drop significantly earlier than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time. This causes issues at the ideal braking point, as you have to brake later as you are too slow for the corner to brake at the normal point. Try braking at a later point to what you are currently doing, so you can brake at the correct point in the next corner, gaining you more time overall by carrying more speed into the braking zone. - Example

Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.

Extra -

You can brake later and harder. Currently, you are braking too early and lightly, causing you to have to release the brakes and reapply them again mid braking zone to carry more speed into the corner, which is costing you time rather than gaining you time. Try braking at a later point and with more pressure, so you can carry more speed under braking, and slow the extra speed down more efficiently, which will also help you with not needing to release the brakes and reapply it mid braking zone, as you already will be carrying more speed from a later braking point. - Example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.  Good luck and have fun on track

Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.

Extra - You are often braking with a bit too much pressure, causing your apex speed to be significantly lower than optimal, costing you a considerable amount of time. Try braking with less pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time. - Example

You're doing really well, although there were a couple of instances where you just missed the mark. No worries though, it happens to the best of us! Enjoy your apex work and don't be afraid to test the entry-apex-exit kerbs!

Extra - In Turn 1 at Suzuka, you released the brakes too quickly, causing you to carry too much speed into the corner and run wide for Turn 2, costing you time. The harsher brake to avoid running off track hurt your speed on the exit and it meant your minimum speed was lower than optimal. Try hold on the brakes longer at Turn 1, so you can continue slowing the car down, which will give you more control for Turn 2 and allow you carry a higher minimum speed. - Example

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).

The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Could you please run more laps? We need about 30 to 50 to make sure we're getting it right. The instructors are here to help whenever you're ready. Good luck, and hope you have a good time on the track!

Extra - You're often applying the throttle very early in the corner (still at the corner entry, before the apex) and looking at this example, you can see that can cause a lot of understeer which makes you miss the apex.
Try to avoid using the throttle too much before the apex, sometimes a little input is alright to balance the car. Instead, trail brake all the way to the apex by gradually releasing the brakes as you turn into the corner, and only at/after the apex, smoothly accelerate out of the corner.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.

Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.

We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.

Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.

The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.

If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"

Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.

Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
