We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Good job, you're sharp and aggressive on the brakes when you need to and managed a good pass here, well done! You need, however to be more mindful of how much brake pressure you're using in fast corners. Currently, there are a few segments where you're braking late and too hard and then slightly missing the apex. This assignment is about both extracting maximum performance from the brakes, and learning to modulate them, gaining knowledge of when you need to use 100% brake pressure, or be more careful to keep the car under control.
We'll elaborate a bit more on the section below, but we'll also pass onto your next assignment!
Extra -
This is a great example of why it's important to be mindful of how hard you brake in fast corners. You still missed the apex, even though you were slower than the reference lap. That's because heavy braking at high speeds puts a lot of load on the front tyres and you won't have enough grip to turn while braking like that. Try to be more gentle there, let the car settle down to turn-in with more grip.

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra - You went back on throttle too early, causing you to have to lift off the throttle before applying full throttle again, costing you significant time on the exit as your exit speed was compromised. Try be a bit more patient before getting back on full throttle, slowly apply throttle on the exit, and then apply full throttle once you are past the apex so you don't understeer off track. - Example

You're doing really well, although there were a couple of instances where you just missed the mark. No worries though, it happens to the best of us! Something to keep in mind is that sometimes there are segments of the track where you don't need to brake at all. In those instances, simply lifting off the throttle can be enough to help you retain your speed and maintain control. Enjoy your apex work and don't be afraid to test the entry-apex-exit kerbs!
Extra - Be careful with applying too much brake pressure in some of the high and medium speed corners. Sometimes you are applying too much pressure on the brakes, reducing your speed significantly more than optimal, and costing you time, because you are not at the speed you can be at. Try applying less brake pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time. - Example

Your braking points were sometimes really good but there was too much inconsistency. Try driving just a little slower and really learning and nailing those braking points. Also, it would be a idea to continue breaking your sessions up into sets of about 8-12 laps and then referring back to the reference lap in between.
Good luck and you'll be onto the next racing skill.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
