Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready. Good luck and have fun on track
You are braking too early, but then you are braking too lightly, causing you to carry too much speed and overshoot the corner, despite braking earlier. Try braking later and harder, so you can carry more speed under braking but also slow that extra speed down more efficiently, gaining you more time overall as a result. - Example
A1 - Accelerating - Finding the Gear | 19/02/2026 (75%)
B1 - Braking - The Braking Point | 27/11/2025 (80%)
B2 - Braking - Power and Speed | 22/01/2026 (74%)
R1 - Racing Line - Hitting the Apex | 11/12/2025 (80%)
X1 - Combination Assessment 1 | 13/03/2026 (88%🔥)
S1 - Specials - Mastering the Chicane | 20/04/2026 (75%)
R2 - Racing Line - Use the Track | 30/04/2026 (88%🔥)
S2 - Specials - Consistency, Consistency, Consistency | 20/05/2026 (78%)
A2 - Accelerating - No Lifting Off | 28/05/2026 (73%)
28/05/2026
This is a pass. Sometimes you really hit the throttle perfectly. There are a few hesitations but in general you are on the right track. As always, it is about the consistency of this. It is common for throttle work to be a more evolved process. Trickier to master and stay focused. When you achieve a good acceleration point then you'll be half way to achieving the desired smooth acceleration with no lifting off. Now focus on speeding this up, but not too much that you need to lift off - find the sweet spot.
Extra -
You are braking too early, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time, as your speed is too low to attack the chicane. Try adjusting to a later braking point so you can carry more speed under braking, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed through the chicane, and gain you more time overall as a result. - Example
----------------------
17/05/2026
This is always going to be a tricky skill to learn and this week you nailed it fantastic job, textbook! When you got 'in the groove' you were churning out lap after lap. Both at speed and also very consistently. As with all these plans and skills try to remember and build on it for the next assignment.
Extra -
You are braking a bit early, and then holding too much brake pressure for too long, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal at the apex and costing you a lot of time. Try ease off the brakes a bit quicker so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall as a result. - Example
----------------------
30/04/2026
Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you time, as you are unable to carry the same speed through the corner as the reference time. Try braking with less pressure so you can carry more speed under braking, allowing you to maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall. - Example
----------------------
16/04/2026
You've got a solid foundation with your lines, though fine-tuning you could make them even sharper. Braking is on point, but there's potential in the chicanes for better acceleration. Aim for quick spurts of speed where you can, keeping in mind that how you exit these sections defines your success. When possible, consider only partially lifting off the throttle instead of fully disengaging, perhaps by 30-50%. Above all, focus on your exit speed, as it's the key to better lap times.
Extra -
You are too slow with getting back on throttle in the middle of the chicane, and you hesitate with applying full throttle. Try get on full throttle earlier, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner, and carry more speed until the next braking zone. - Example
----------------------
02/04/2026
When it comes to the chicanes in particular there are some key areas we can look to improve. In particular you typically enter the corner quite a bit slower than you could do. When looking at the reference lap it is often because you are not committing and cutting the apexes as much as you could be, especially on the way in. Of course this is a fine balance but it looks like there is more on the table. The straighter the line you can get away with will allow you to carry the most speed through the back to back corners.
Extra -
Currently, the main challenge is your tendency to back off the throttle instead of committing to full 100% acceleration. A small adjustment to your line, hugging the apex more closely, will greatly improve this. Example
----------------------
20/03/2026
Braking points are generally very good however there are some things to work on a little more. The mid chicane throttle work is lacking. Have confidence to put your foot down mid chicane to squeeze in a little acceleration. It might feel insignificant but there is lots of time to be found here. Plan for your exit as well you are sometimes on and off the throttle with is stopping you getting to 100% throttle quickly.
Extra -
By not aiming for the sharpest possible apex, you're losing precious speed mid-corner. It's crucial to make use of every bit of track space available at the entry, apex, and exit points where your vehicle maintains stability. Example
----------------------

Hi, apologise for the delay. Great job with this assessment, not only were your inputs really good - so were you lap times 🔥. Not much to comment on here, we'll move onto the next assignment now. Good luck and have fun!
Extra -
In heavy braking zones, you are often braking around 10-20m too early which costs you time. Work on pushing those braking points back a little to find time. - example
----------------------
19/02/2026
Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra -
Use the width of the track. Every opportunity to test the limits of the track should be used. There is room both on entry and exit to the corner to go wider. Example
----------------------
05/02/2026
A bit more adjustment is needed here. You frequently shift into a gear that's too low for the corner, which costs you time. Reflect on the gear choices from the reference lap and experiment with maintaining control in those gears. This should help improve your segment times.
Extra -
Try to be less erratic with the throttle, smaller motions will help. This is tricky but when you ease off the throttle, you often take the throttle to 20-30% pressure. Try to use smaller movements to avoid slowing the car too much. Example
----------------------
22/01/2026
Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra -
Here you go too wide on exit. Getting onto the exit kerb here both is the longer path but also gives you poor traction. Try your best to keep tighter and get the power down on the tarmac. Example
----------------------

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

25/12/2025
Your braking is too inconsistent. Sometimes you are showing good technique and other times your braking strength is not where it needs to be for that particular corner. This leads to other mistakes in your driving. Try to improve your consistency for the next assessment so we can move past this stage.
Extra -
Brake harder and faster even on the fast corners, try a quick dab instead of your currently longer ease on and off, test these two styles. Example
----------------------
11/12/2025
Fantastic racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apex's. Great job using the whole width of the track. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can slowly tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are nailing the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up!
Extra - Your braking points were sometimes really good but there was too much inconsistency. Try driving just a little slower and really learning and nailing those braking points. Also, it would be a idea to continue breaking your sessions up into sets of about 8-12 laps and then referring back to the reference lap in between. Example
----------------------
27/11/2025
Your braking points are solid. There are a few times where you brake a little too late, this causes you to go deep and lose time, especially in chicanes. Through 'normal' corners, you were braking a little early. While we move onto the next assignment lets try to improve in those areas.
Remember: Chicanes - Brake earlier. 'Normal' corners - brake later.
Best of luck with your next assingment.
Extra - You are turning the wheel a little to much on corner exit. This exceeds the turns grip levels and causes you to understeer. Let's try straightening the wheel a little earlier. - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
