There were quite a few errors that need addressing. Firstly look closely at your gear choices, has there were many times that you drop into too low a gear. This will be impacting your lap times significantly. Braking points were generally good, a few mistakes but your need to keep an eye on how hard you brake. This was sometimes too much. A bit more practice, especially on your gear choices and you'll be moving onto your next plan.

Extra -

You are in the wrong gear for many of the slow speed corners, you are sometimes going one gear too low, causing the engine braking to slow the car more than necessary and costing you time. You also apply too much brake pressure approaching the corners, causing your apex speed to be significantly slower than optimal along with the engine braking and lower gear. Have a look at the reference lap and try give this one another go, using less brake pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed, as well as using a higher gear to avoid the engine braking slowing you down further unncessarily. - Example

There is some good segments and some bad. The main issue is the braking point and the power of braking. These need looking at again as you struggled to find your braking points. Bringing all these skills together at the same time takes time and effort. Concentrate on one or two tracks and you should have this in the bag. Remember try a few quick sessions to ensure there are no glaring errors when you review your telemetry.

Extra -

You are braking way too early and lightly, causing your speed to be significantly lower than optimal before the ideal braking point and costing you considerable time. Try braking at a later point, and with much more pressure, so you can gain time just by carrying more speed under braking. - Example

There is some good segments and some bad. The main issue is the braking point and the power of braking. These need looking at again as you struggled to find your braking points. Interestingly your gear choice was very good which was your weakest assessment over the previous sessions. Bringing all these skills together at the same time takes time and effort. Concentrate on one or two tracks and you should have this in the bag. Remember try a few quick sessions to ensure there are no glaring errors when you review your telemetry.

Extra -

You are braking too early, causing your speed to be significantly lower than optimal. Despite the early braking, you still are too quick into the corner as you got on throttle too quickly, and have to brake on exit to avoid going off track, costing you a considerable amount of time. Try adjusting to a later braking point, with more brake pressure, to gain more speed under braking, and gradually ease off the brakes as you approach the corner, and then go on throttle as you exit the corner, rather than before. - Example

Hi, apologise for the delay. Your gear choices are good, well done. There were 1 or 2 times where you were a gear too high, though. This is good enough for a pass so we will move onto the next assignment. Good luck and have fun!

Extra - Make sure you aren't taking off too much speed into fast corners. In a car like the F3 car, that uses downforce to generate grip, going too slow through corners will reduce the grip available to you as the car won't be able to generate enough downforce. - example

----------------------

17/02/2026
Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.

Extra - The goal is to make the corner as wide as possible to be able to carry more speed through it. To do that, you need to stay right on the edge of the track on the approach to the corner, stay wide until you reach a good turn-in point, then aim for the apex. On the exit the goal is usually the same: start accelerating near the apex and aim to go as wide as you can without going over the track limits. Don't be afraid to try to get on the kerbs, you can gain a lot of time by using them! Example

----------------------

03/02/2026
Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.

Extra - There is a big gap between lifting off and braking in most corners. This is useful if you are trying to save fuel but it won't help your lap times. Consider tightening this up to shave those hundredths. Example

----------------------

20/01/2026
Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress.  Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪

Extra - Early throttle application is cating understeer, which then forces you to lift and disrupts your exit. Give it a beat longer off-throttle, then transition quicker and more fluidly onto the accelerator. Example

----------------------

06/01/2026
Your braking points were sometimes really good but there was too much inconsistency. Try driving just a little slower and really learning and nailing those braking points. Also, it would be a idea to continue breaking your sessions up into sets of about 8-12 laps and then referring back to the reference lap in between.

Good luck and you'll be onto the next racing skill.

Extra - Your biggest hurdle at present is lifting off the gas prematurely rather than flooring it to complete throttle. Try refining your trajectory slightly by taking a tighter line into the apex—that'll be a game-changer. Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.

Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.

We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.

Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.

The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.

If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"

Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.

Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
