This is a pass. Sometimes you really hit the throttle perfectly. There are a few hesitations but in general you are on the right track. As always, it is about the consistency of this. It is common for throttle work to be a more evolved process. Trickier to master and stay focused. When you achieve a good acceleration point then you'll be half way to achieving the desired smooth acceleration with no lifting off.

Extra - You've made solid progress, but now it's time to fine-tune your braking technique. While caution is understandable, braking too late can compromise your control and cornering precision. To enhance your performance, focus on finding the braking points that allow you to maintain control while still achieving optimal deceleration. Gradually brake earlier to ensure you're not sacrificing too much speed or risking overshooting the corner. With practice, you'll find the perfect balance and see significant improvements in your lap times. Keep refining your technique—you’re on the right track! Example

Impressively consistent race times, showcasing your dedication and skill. This consistent performance is a crucial asset as you prepare for your upcoming Combination Assessment. Keep up the great work, it's evident that you're on the right track towards achieving your goals.
Extra - You are giving up mid-corner speed by not taking a tight enough apex. Make sure to use every inch of track available on corner entry, apex and exit where the car is stable. This is extra important in a chicane like this, as the loss carries all the way through the complex. Example
----------------------
03/09/2024
Your racing lines are starting to look like you are understanding. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are still a few corners where you are entering too tight and exiting too narrow, which costs you minimum speed. It's just about a pass but lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra - You've made good progress, but it's important to address your tendency to brake early. While being cautious is understandable, braking too early can lead to a loss of momentum, affecting your overall lap time. To optimize your performance, try to identify braking points that allow you to carry more speed into the corners. Gradually delay your braking to find the sweet spot where you're slowing down just enough without sacrificing speed. With practice, you'll find the right balance and see noticeable improvements in your lap times. Keep refining your technique—you've got this! Example

Similar to you previous assessment. It is important to take advantage of the entry, apex and exit lines. The trouble with not using the full width of the track is that you are unwillingly turning the steering wheel more than necessary. This results in the tyres running at less than an optimal straight line. It is a skill that is important to lower your lap times and in sim racing it is very hard to feel the effect that this sub-optimal tyre direction is causing. Work on using the width, check the reference laps and their lines and try to emulate.
Extra - Every part of this corner can be pushed further in regards to the racing line. Get wider on exit, use the apex a little more and on exit, stay straight for longer to really benefit from the acceleration of the car in this crucial phase - example
----------------------
06/08/2024
The lines are good (there is still room to get tighter though) and your braking points are good. Your mid chicane acceleration is ok, in some chicanes you'll be able to get a bit more out of this section, use that short period to get a short burst of speed but remember the final exit is all important. Try not to come completely off the throttle when not necessary, sometimes you'll be able to just release the throttle 30-50% instead. Also, remember it is your exit speed that is of the most importance, concentrate on this.
Extra - Even though your apexes were really good, it is important also to get the width on entry and exit from the corners, work on this as you look at the second aspect of your braking. Example
----------------------
23/07/2024
A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited, and the majority of the racing skills learned have been displayed across multiple segments. There are some areas where improvements are needed, which will lower your lap times. Firstly, work on refining your cornering techniques. Mastering this will significantly benefit your overall performance. Secondly, there are several instances where your gear choice could be improved. Learning truly comes from driving, analysing, and then driving again until you feel you've reached a plateau, then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible
Extra - Let's address your throttle timing. Sometimes as you approach the apex you are already on the throttle, this can be too early and causing you to hesitate, try a few laps were you wait for the apex then really go for the acceleration - example
----------------------
09/07/2024
Good corner gear choices. It is often the case that people change down too far in a belief that it will be faster however, you nailed this. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck!
Extra - You appear to have made a mistake into the braking zone whereby you lift off the brakes early and then have to get back on it. This is bad because it caused you to go wide on entry - you had the initial braking point correct and did not need to have two stabs at it. Example
----------------------
25/06/2024
Very nice, great to see this improvement, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Occasionally you were applying the brakes when not needed. A quick check back at the reference lap will really help find these little wins.
Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - Be wary of slowing your care down too much. Sometimes you hold the brake just a little too much which needs to be addressed - example
----------------------
11/06/2024
Although you appear to be quicker on the pedal, your brake pressure was a bit inconsistent, with you sometimes being a bit on and off the brakes. Try to focus a bit on your braking and hold the brakes at full pressure for a little while before gradually releasing the pedal (that is, of couse if the corner asks for it).
Extra - You're sometimes a bit early on the throttle when exiting the corners and it is making you lose time there. While being early on the throttle can appear to make you faster, it is making you take longer to reach full throttle, thus making you lose time on the corner exit.
Be patient, try to avoid pressing the throttle before the apex and try to carry a small amount of brake pressure bit further into the corner to help you carry some speed on the corner entry while also slowing down for the apex. It can also help to let the car coast a bit on the apex so you can practice accelerating in a single smooth motion.
Here's a good example for you to take a look at.
We also noticed you might be running an older version of the Track Titan logger. Please follow this link if you need help running the update https://intercom.help/track-titan/en/articles/7964105-how-do-i-update-my-track-titan-logger
----------------------

There needs to be a little more speed and urgency in your braking. Sometimes you nail it but on too many occasions there is too much hesitancy. You are braking earlier than the reference lap and getting to 100% braking later. Try to press the brake pedal quicker whilst doing your best to maintain traction. Also, you're sometimes getting near 100% brake pressure, but not really reaching it. Try to really go to 100% on those heavy braking zones. Practice is needed but it is a skill that is relatively easy to view and adapt to.
Extra - You're often pressing the throttle too early in the corner and then having to lift off (sometimes completely lift off) to avoid going wide in the corner. Be a bit more patient and let the car coast a little near the apex to practice getting the timing right. Reduce the time you spend coasting as you get more accurate and confident.
Here's a good example for you to take a look at.

Sorry for the slight delay, we are little short staffed at the moment.
Fantastic racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apexes. Great job using the whole width of the track. Practice trying to take a slightly later apex and see how this affects your deltas. Also have in the back of your mind the angle / direction of the car as you take the apex. The more it is facing in the direction of the coming straight the quicker you'll be able to effectively get on the throttle.
Your throttle engagement should generally be within two car lengths of your apex.
Extra - Only a couple of seconds off pace and it is clear that with a look at your gear choices you'll be able to cut this difference even more. Quite often you drop one gear too low which is causing it. Always double think whether 1st gear is absolutely necessary. It can also sometimes be that you broke just a little too much into the corner thus 1st gear felt right. Understanding the telemetry is about finding this little clues to work on - example
----------------------
30/04/2024
You're doing really well, although there were a couple of instances where you just missed the mark. No worries though, it happens to the best of us! Something to keep in mind is that sometimes there are segments of the track where you don't need to brake at all. In those instances, simply lifting off the throttle can be enough to help you retain your speed and maintain control. Enjoy your apex work and don't be afraid to test the entry-apex-exit kerbs!
Extra - Try to be a little more patient on the throttle during the corners. You're often pressing the throttle a bit too early (before the apex) to compensate for some lost speed and end up carrying too much speed on the corner entry/mid-corner phase, which will make you lift off the throttle at the exit, costing you some time. Try to adjust your braking to avoid losing too much speed and be a bit more patient on the throttle.
Here's a good example for you to analyse.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
