There were quite a few errors that need addressing. Firstly look closely at your gear choices, has there were many times that you drop into too low a gear. This will be impacting your lap times significantly. Braking points were generally good, a few mistakes but your need to keep an eye on how quickly you brake. This was sometimes too slow. Enjoy the high downforce car and trust its stopping power. A bit more practice, especially on your gear choices and you'll be moving onto your next plan.
You are coming on throttle too early, causing you to wash wide, compromising your exit, and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try getting back on throttle as you hit the apex, rather than before the apex, so you can avoid running out wide, allowing you to carry a higher exit speed, which will follow onto the straight, gaining you more time overall. - Example
B1 - Braking - The Braking Point | 16/12/2025 (71%)
B2 - Braking - Power and Speed | 10/02/2026 (75%)
R1 - Racing Line - Hitting the Apex | 30/12/2025 (76%)
A1 - Accelerating - Finding the Gear | 03/06/2026 (72%)

Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....
Extra -
You are too slow getting back on full throttle, costing you a considerable amount of time as the hesitation with the throttle affects the speed both through Ascari and the backstraight. Try applying the throttle quicker so you can carry a higher minimum speed through the corner, as well as giving you a higher exit speed and gaining you time overall. - Example

A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are one gear off the reference lap, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are braking and accelerating at the same time, inducing understeer and affecting your run through the corner as a result, costing you a lot of time. Try use one pedal at once, and brake with less pressure, so you can carry more speed and gain more time overall. - Example
You are currently a gear lower or two gears lower than optimal, causing the engine braking to reduce your speed significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time, as the gear you are in is too low for the nature of the corner, meaning you are not able to carry enough speed in comparison to the reference lap. Have a look at the reference lap and see what gear choices are being used to get an idea of what you should be doing, and you should notice the time gain. - Example
----------------------
05/05/2026
A bit more adjustment is needed here. You frequently shift into a gear that's too low for the corner, which costs you time. Reflect on the gear choices from the reference lap and experiment with maintaining control in those gears. This should help improve your segment times.
Extra -
You are sometimes going two gears lower into corners, dropping your speed significantly more than optimal as a result of engine braking and costing you a considerable amount of time. Have a look at the reference lap, and try take majority of the lap one gear higher than what you are currently doing, with the exception of stay two gears higher here - Example

Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are often going a gear too low for a corner, this causes your speed to be reduced significantly as a lower gear is not able to maintain the same speed through a corner as one gear higher, and due to the engine braking by an extra downshift, it drops your speed further. Have a look at the reference lap and try keep the car one gear higher than what you are currently doing for some of the corners. - Example

Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are still shifting a gear too low through each corner. By going a lower gear, you are slowing the car down more than optimal, as the engine braking reduces your speed to the speed that suits for that gear. Being in that lower gear means you cannot carry the speed that you can carry. Try taking each corner at Red Bull Ring in a higher gear, so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner, gaining you time. - Example

Extra -
You are shifting too low a gear for the majority of a lap, sometimes even two gears lower. In the final corner at Jeddah, you shifted into first gear. This significantly dropped your speed as you were two gears lower than optimal. Have a look at the reference lap to get an idea of what gear you should be in for each corner. - Example

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smoother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra - Your biggest hurdle at present is lifting off the gas prematurely rather than flooring it to complete throttle. Try refining your trajectory slightly by taking a tighter line into the apex—that'll be a game-changer. Example
---------------------
27/01/2026
Your braking is too inconsistent. Sometimes you are showing good technique and other times your braking strength is not where it needs to be for that particular corner. This leads to other mistakes in your driving. Try to improve your consistency for the next assessment so we can move past this stage.
Extra - Holding the brakes at full pressure for too long is slowing your car down too much. Try to be more nimble with the foot action and trust the cars gripping ability. Example

Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra - A key area for improvement is your trail braking approach. Ensuring smooth brake modulation helps maintain car balance and maximizes tire grip. Apply strong braking at first, then slowly reduce pressure as you steer into the corner, completing the release at the apex. As an example, start easing off the brakes right at turn-in to carry more controlled speed through the corner. Example

Very nice, your braking points are decent. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks but you are already making progress. Braking is critical to set up the whole dynamic of a corner. If you don't get this right it is impossible to make up for it with other areas of driving. Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - Use the width of the track. Every opportunity to test the limits of the track should be used. There is room both on entry and exit to the corner to go wider. Example
----------------------

There were some good segments but unfortunately too many missed braking points. Practice trying to be consistent. This is best done by driving a little slower than your maximum. Remember your braking points and try to repeat for 3 laps in a row, always trying to be within a second and a half of the lap before. Only when you achieve this try going a little faster. Repeat his process for many laps but don't forget to put back to the analysis to make sure you aren't making any big mistakes.
Brake hard and fast, never rest your foot on the brake before committing to the braking point.
Good luck and I'm sure with enough laps and the advice above you'll be passing this driving skill.
Extra - The primary problem right now is that you're easing off the accelerator too early rather than accelerating fully to maximum throttle. Consider tweaking your racing path a bit—aiming for a tighter approach to the apex should make a big difference. Example
----------------------
18/11/2025
Your braking points were sometimes really good but there was too much inconsistency. Try driving just a little slower and really learning and nailing those braking points. Also, it would be a idea to continue breaking your sessions up into sets of about 8-12 laps and then referring back to the reference lap in between.
Good luck and you'll be onto the next racing skill.
Extra - You often accelerate too late and that cost you a lot of time. You aren't as fast to 100% with your throttle which is affecting your top speed on the subsequent straight. Practice a fast but smooth acceleration all the way to 100% throttle using as much of the track exit as available so that you can have as straight a wheel as possible. This will allow the car to use most of it's power for forward acceleration. Example

Cheers for the laps. In general you are braking too early in most corners. However, despite this there are times where you still go wide in the corner by being too fast at the apex. This is because you do not always use the full potential of the brakes early on to slow the car when it has the most downforce. Try some more laps and compare yourself to the reference. The braking is the key as all other aspects will branch off this if you get into the right place on corner entry and everything else will improve with it.
Extra - Holding the brakes at full pressure for too long is slowing your car down too much. Try to be more nimble with the foot action and trust the cars gripping ability. Example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
