Some more work is needed here before we progress. Currently, there are a few corners that can be taken flatout, whilst you are lifting and/or braking. Your consistency is very good though, keep up the good work. Have a look at the advice bellow and give this assignment another go. Good luck and have fun!
In some areas, you are shifting up and down a lot more than the refernce lap. Choosing the correct gear is important to maximise the cars' engine braking into the corner. This helps slow the car down faster and more effectively. Shifting lots can unsettling the cars balance into the corner and cause understeer or oversteer, this is due the cars weight jumping forwards quickly during the shift. - example

This is a pass. Sometimes you really hit the throttle perfectly. There are a few hesitations but in general you are on the right track. As always, it is about the consistency of this. It is common for throttle work to be a more evolved process. Trickier to master and stay focused. When you achieve a good acceleration point then you'll be half way to achieving the desired smooth acceleration with no lifting off.
Extra -
You are often braking with too much pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a lot of time as a result. Try braking with less brake pressure so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall. - Example
----------------------
17/05/2026
Nicely done, you show that consistency is there. Work on this more with more longer sessions of 20+ laps as ones concentration sometimes affects ones consistency in these longer sessions. This skill is important as you work towards your second Combination Assessment.
Extra -
You are braking too early, causing your speed to drop earlier than optimal and costing you a lot of time as a result. Try adjusting to a later braking point so you can gain more time overall just by carrying more speed under the braking zone. - Example
----------------------
02/05/2026
There are some good times, however also too many invalid laps. I appreciate that this is inevitable when training but it is worth really focusing on this technique as nailing lap after lap without invalid laps is critical in a race situation. It can be the difference between a drive through or not. Slow you driving down a little and really concentrate on the consistency with valid laps. A racing drivers main skill has to be able to achieve similar lap times lap after lap. Drop your speed 10% and achieve these valid laps to move on with your training.
Extra -
You are braking with too much pressure for too long, causing your speed to be significantly lower than optimal at the apex and costing you a lot of time. Try applying less brake pressure so you can carry a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain more time overall. - Example
----------------------
19/04/2026
Some more work is needed here. Currently, every 3-5 laps there is one 5-10s slower. Focus on doing the same thing every lap, some braking zone, throttle application, etc and the consistency will come. Remember you don't need to buy pushing 100% every lap for this assignment, you just need to show you can repeat laps at a good pace for a race distance.
Extra -
Currently, you are lifting off the throttle too late while under braking which means you are running deep into corners. Work on lifting earlier to avoid this throttle/brake overlap as it not only decreases braking efficiency, it also burns more fuel and can induce under steer on corner entry by upsetting the cars weight balance which costs you time.
----------------------
04/04/2026
Your racing lines are starting to look like you know what you are doing. In most situations we want to open up the entry and exit of the corner so that when we clip the apex the path we travel has the largest possible radius. This allows you to carry the most possible speed through the corner. There are exceptions, for example in corner complexes, where sometimes a compromise is required. There are a few corners where you are still entering too tight, which costs you minimum speed. Lets keep working on this as you go into the next challenge - Consistency.
Extra -
You were a bit wide in the first Lesmo at Monza, costing you about a tenth through the corner. Try and get a bit closer to the apex, so you can gain a bit more time just by being that little bit closer to the apex. - Example
----------------------
20/03/2026
You've got a solid foundation with your lines, though fine-tuning you could make them even sharper. Braking is on point, but there's potential in the chicanes for better acceleration. Aim for quick spurts of speed where you can, keeping in mind that how you exit these sections defines your success. When possible, consider only partially lifting off the throttle instead of fully disengaging, perhaps by 30-50%. Above all, focus on your exit speed, as it's the key to better lap times.
Extra -
You're carrying less speed through the turn by missing the optimal apex. Make a habit of exploiting every inch of tarmac on the way in, at the clipping point, and on the way out when traction and stability allow it. Example
----------------------
07/03/2026
Apologises for the delay. Some more work is needed here. There are a couple things to work on. Have a look at the advice bellow and give this assignment another go.
Extra -
Firstly, you aren't using all the track on corner entry which costs you massive amounts of time and makes the corner much slower and tighter. - example
Often, you aren't using as much kerb as you should be on either the first or second corner which hurts your exit out of the corner.
Finally, make sure you don't out-brake yourself and run deep into the first bend as that happened a couple times. - example
----------------------
20/02/2026
A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
Extra -
You often accelerate too late and that cost you a lot of time. You aren't as fast to 100% with your throttle which is affecting your top speed on the subsequent straight. Practice a fast but smooth acceleration all the way to 100% throttle using as much of the track exit as available so that you can have as straight a wheel as possible. This will allow the car to use most of it's power for forward acceleration. Example
----------------------
08/02/2026
Overall performance in this assessment did not meet the required standard to progress to the next training plan. There were inconsistencies across the lap that affected your overall pace and control. While some sections showed potential, the combination of skills needs further refinement to reach the necessary consistency. Keep practicing with focused sessions, review your telemetry for patterns, and build toward greater reliability lap after lap. With continued effort, you'll be ready to advance soon.
Extra -
You're not maximising mid-corner velocity because the car isn't hugging the apex tightly enough. Always aim to use the full track limits—wide entry, precise apex touch, wide exit—wherever the car is settled and under control. Example

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

This week the braking points and apex work slipped a bit, so focus on tightening up those two areas before moving on to the next training stage. Once you’ve nailed the braking points and power delivery, you’ll free up more attention for throttle control—and that’s when you’ll see the biggest gains in your times. Pulling all these skills together isn’t easy, but stick with it; the payoff is worth the effort.
Extra -
Your throttle application is delaying your acceleration phase, impacting your straight-line speed. Maximise throttle input earlier to optimise top speed for the next straight. Focus on swift and seamless throttle control, utilising track space efficiently to maintain straight alignment for maximal power transfer and acceleration efficiency. Example

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪

Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....

Very nice, your braking was fast and powerful. Keep this up, it is exactly what is needed. What you can develop now is just slightly bringing your braking markers forward to see if you can etch out a little more time at your top speed on the preceding straight.
Extra - The biggest area to concentrate on aside from your assessment plan is your steering. You are quite often a little too exaggerated with your steering angles. Try to work on minimising excessive turning wherever possible. For sim racing it is often tricky to gaue how much time is lost with steering too much. Telemetry is your friend here. As your braking and throttle work is generally very good, try to be smooth and controlled on your racing line as much as possible - example
----------------------
17/10/2025
There needs to be a little more speed and urgency in your braking. Sometimes you nail it but on too many occasions there is too much hesitancy. You are braking a little earlier than the reference lap and getting to 100% braking later. Try to press the brake pedal quicker whilst doing your best to maintain traction. Also, try to avoid resting on the brake pedal before fully committing to the braking phase. Practice is needed but it is a skill that is relatively easy to view and adapt to.
Extra - Concentrate on combining your braking point with the power of braking. It is this combination that will get you up to speed. There are time when you are braking on point but brake too slower and other time when you are off the mark both with braking point and power. Take a look at this example and you'll see that the speed of your braking meant that you had to brake earlier. Combine the two and you segment times will start to come down - example

Really sorry for the delay on the update.
Very nice. Tight to the kerb on the majority of the segments (where needed). Keep up the laps, amazing work and looking forward to see how you perform on the next assigned task.
Extra - At Imola, you're often having a burst of acceleration before the apex (example). That can make you carry too much speed at the mid-corner phase (near the apex), this then makes you slower on the exit since you need more time to reach full throttle to avoid going wide. Be patient, try to avoid pressing the throttle too early (before the apex) and try to trail brake further into the corner to help you carry some speed on the entry while also slowing down for the apex.

Please do more laps. You need between 30 to 50 to really see how you're doing. Our trainers are here to help whenever. Good luck and have fun out there!

Very nice, your braking points are looking good. If anything you do brake slightly early, but that is suited to your level of experience. As you develop we can push those further. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks, such as trail braking (we'll elaborate on the section below) but you are already making progress.
Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - Improving your trail braking can also help you brake later and more efficiently. Maintaining braking smoothness is key in racing to keeping the car balanced and maximising grip. You should apply the brakes sharply at first, but then release them gradually. Begin easing off the brakes right as you start turning into the corner, and continue this slow release as you increase the steering angle until you hit the apex. Here's an example for you to analyse this further.

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
