A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited and the majority of the racing skills learnt have been displayed on multiple segments. There were some areas where improvements are needed and these will lower your lap times. Firstly, work hard at those braking points. If there is one area that needs to be studied and perfected, this is the most useful. Secondly, there are a number of times that your gear choice could be improved. Learning really comes from driving, analysing and then driving again until you feel you've reached a wall then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible.
You are braking with too much brake pressure for too long, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time as a result. Try braking with less pressure so you can carry more speed into the corner and gain more time overall by maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example
B1 - Braking - The Braking Point | 16/03/2026 (72%)
R1 - Racing Line - Hitting the Apex | 31/03/2026 (73%)
B2 - Braking - Power and Speed | 17/04/2026 (88%)🔥

We are ready to assess your practice from last week. Please provide us some laps and we'll check again on your next turnover day. To really learn a track in Sim racing, from our analysis of users data between 30-50 laps in a week are required to improve significantly (depending on track length).
The next Instructor notes will be provided when we have sessions to review. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing your improvements. 😁

Good corner gear choices in general. Sometimes you are one gear off the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control choosing a different gear. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times. So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment....

You are braking with maximum brake pressure, causing your speed to drop significantly more than optimal and costing you a considerable amount of time. Try lift off the throttle instead of braking so you can maintain a higher minimum speed and gain more time overall as a result of carrying more speed through the corner. - Example
----------------------
27/04/2026
A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are dropping into a gear too low for the corner, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are often going one gear too low for a corner, causing your speed to be reduced significantly due to the engine braking cutting your speed down to a suitable speed for that gear, but not necessarily suitable for the corner. Have a look at the reference lap and their corner gearing, and try do some laps in a higher gear, to carry more speed and gain more time overall, as the engine braking will not be an issue and reducing your speed further. - Example

Your braking inputs are solid, well done. Not much to comment on here, however there are some places where you can push the braking zone a little later. We will move onto the next assignment now. Good luck and have fun!
Extra -
Have a look at your steering inputs. Often, you are turning the wheel too much. Try to reduce your inputs by 20-30 degrees to avoid understeer. Understeer is when the front tyres lose grip before the rear tyres, which results in the car steering less than optimal. This can cause the tyres to wear faster and increase tyre temps (making the tyre too hot), you'll also have to go slower through corners to make it around. - example
----------------------
31/03/2026
Okay, you are hitting most of your apex's. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are starting to learn the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up! You just need to apply this on every corner.
Extra -
In Turn 1 at Oschersleben, you are braking a bit early, but with too much brake pressure, causing your speed to be significantly lower than optimal and costing you time. Despite the early braking, you missed the apex due to the extra pressure on the brakes whilst trying to turn into the corner. Try applying less pressure on the brakes so you can rotate the car better and hit the apex, and so you can maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner. - Example
----------------------
16/03/2026
Very nice, your braking points have seen a great improvement.
Important! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily.
Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra -
As with each of these techniques, there is always room for improvement. Keep on working your braking markers and make sure you get these as accurate as you can. When we start to combine this with other techniques, it will be more important to get your braking pressure and your braking points bang on. For the moment though, try and improve your racing line. Use more the corner entry width, to make the corner steering as shallow as possible - example

We need to work on a couple things before we move onto the next skill. Currently, you aren't using enough brake pressure which means you are taking too much speed into the corner and running wide as a result. Give this assignment another go and see how you get on.
Extra - You aren't aggrssive enough when getting back on power. Have a look at this linked segment (example) and see how the reference lap quickly applies the throttle, while you apply slowly and carefully. This costs you time under acceleration and down the straights. A bit of work here and you'll see several tenths come off your lap times 💪 - example
----------------------
17/02/2026
Cheers for the laps. In general you are braking too early in most corners. However, despite this there are times where you still go wide in the corner by being too fast at the apex. This is because you do not always use the full potential of the brakes early on to slow the car when it has the most downforce. Try some more laps and compare yourself to the reference. The braking is the key as all other aspects will branch off this if you get into the right place on corner entry and everything else will improve with it.
Extra - You are braking too early and sometimes not enough brake pressure. Try to think what type of corner you are entering and how you can optimise by braking differently by also tweaking your racing line. Example
----------------------
02/02/2026
Your braking points were sometimes really good but there was too much inconsistency. Try driving just a little slower and really learning and nailing those braking points. Also, it would be a idea to continue breaking your sessions up into sets of about 8-12 laps and then referring back to the reference lap in between.
Good luck and you'll be onto the next racing skill.
Extra - Try not to lift off way before you brake, this lag time is time you could still be accelerating, instead you are coasting. Unless you are saving fuel for a race stint there is no real benefit to this strategy - certainly not in lap time. Example
----------------------
20/01/2026
Some more work is needed here. Have a look at the advice bellow and let's give this assignment another go.
Extra - You are braking 30-40m too early in most corners which means you aren't taking enough speed into the turn. Push you braking points further back which will naturally mean you'll take more speed into the turn. - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
