04/04/2026
A good combination assessment. There were many good laps exhibited, and the majority of the racing skills learned have been displayed across multiple segments. There are some areas where improvements are needed, which will lower your lap times. Firstly, work on refining your cornering techniques. Mastering this will significantly benefit your overall performance. Secondly, there are several instances where your gear choice could be improved. Learning truly comes from driving, analysing, and then driving again until you feel you've reached a plateau, then analysing again. This habit will really help you improve as quickly as possible
Extra - Even though your apexes were really good, it is important also to get the width on entry and exit from the corners, work on this as you look at the second aspect of your braking. Example
----------------------
20/03/2026
Overall performance in this assessment did not meet the required standard to progress to the next training plan. There were inconsistencies across the lap that affected your overall pace and control. While some sections showed potential, the combination of skills needs further refinement to reach the necessary consistency. Keep practicing with focused sessions, review your telemetry for patterns, and build toward greater reliability lap after lap. With continued effort, you'll be ready to advance soon.
Extra - There are a few segments where you're turning too early into the corners, that means the car gets pushed out wide earlier, you'll have to delay getting on the throttle and your speed will be slower at the corner exit (example). Finding the right turn-in point is not always easy, but typically you need to point the car towards a good and straighter exit line while also being able to start accelerating close to the apex and quickly make it to full throttle.Checking your telemetry during and after a practice session can also be very helpful to see where you can make alight adjustments to your racing line. Also keep in mind that the turn-in point can vary according to the car's setup and the driver's preferred driving style, but they all should be around the same area. Example

Sorry for the delay on the update.
Good corner gear choices. Sometimes you are one gear higher than the reference lap, try testing with the different cars that you drive whether you have the control dropping one gear lower. Try and compare the deltas to get a feeling for whether there is a big difference on your lap times.
So you've reached a milestone - well done! Your next weeks training, will be assessed on how well you perform with all the plans that you have driven so far. You are currently doing really well and should find this straight forward, just strive to increase your consistency and push for slightly quicker lap times. Good luck! Time to bring all that you've learnt together now in the next assessment.
Extra - You're sometimes resting your foot on the brake pedal before fully committing to the braking point - Example. At the end of the Kemmel Straight, it ended up costing you 0.03 seconds. Apart from prematurely reducing your top speed, having your foot resting on the brake pedal can also overheat the brakes with time and it might hinder your ability of consistently hitting the best braking points.
During larger full throttle sections like the Kemmel Straight, try to physically distance your foot from the brake pedal and only bring it back into action when you're ready to commit to the braking point. You can also go into the settings menu and add a small deadzone on the brake pedal to avoid accidental inputs.
Keep up the good work on track!

A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are dropping into a gear too low for the corner, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra - Try not to lift off too much through the high speed corners. Sometimes it can be better to keep your foot planted for the best stability at the rear. Example
----------------------
23/03/2024
Your braking is looking good. There are places you could improve but in general you follow the power and speed of the reference driver well. Try to be a bit smother on the pedal and avoid pumping the brake which can unsettle the car. Keep it up and look forward to reviewing your gearing next.
Extra - You don't get on the power soon enough in a few corners. Look at what the reference lap is doing. Example
----------------------
08/03/2024
Your braking is too inconsistent. Sometimes you are showing good technique and other times your braking strength is not where it needs to be for that particular corner. This leads to other mistakes in your driving. Try to improve your consistency for the next assessment so we can move past this stage.
Extra - Try and avoid multiple stabs at the brake. This can unsettle the car and cause you to lose time on corner entry. Example
----------------------
23/02/2024
You are braking well but there is still room to improve, especially on the slow speed corners where you can brake hard to 100%. Speed up your braking a little and also it is important to avoid using the brakes on segments where it is possible to take the corner without the use of the brake - generally you are very good at this. I notice you often have multiple stabs at the brakes instead of one consistent application. It is very important is you refer back to the data to understand where these small improvements can be made. You have good car control so lets keep working on this and re-review next time.
Extra - In this example you take a stab at the throttle when it really isnt necessary into the double apex. This is a prime area to trailbrake.
----------------------
09/02/2024
There are times when you hit the apex perfectly, nice and tight with a good line out of the corner. We can still improve this as there are a few times your late braking causes you to miss the apex a little. The main area for you to focus on is your entry and exit lines to help get the mid-mid corner right. It all comes as a package. Keep improving this as you mover onto another braking task.
Extra - Looking at this example you really compromise your entry by taking a tight line on the way in. This means you have to brake harder and turn sharper giving you a worse exit. Congrats on making the apex but we can improve this next time - example
----------------------
26/01/2024
Very nice and good improvement here, your braking points are sharp and spot on most of the time. Important! Be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to loose too much speed by braking too heavily.
Next up is your first racing line technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps! 💪
Extra - Sometimes you are still resting on the pedal before really committing to the braking. Remove these habits as soon as possible to be able to advance quickly and lower your laptimes. To couple this, you are also resting on the throttle the whole time you are braking which is diminishing the effectiveness of the braking - example
----------------------
16/01/2024
Your braking points are still too early. This is a fundamental and crucial technique to learn so that we can build on a solid corner strategy. It is great to see that you are analysing your data, now it is important to apply this on track. Remember it is important to ingrain these skills, try to practice on only a couple of tracks with one or two cars to get a good feeling. From there you can expand.
Extra - The brake is often engaged don't rest on the pedal and / or set a deadzone in the in-game settings to avoid this - example
----------------------
29/12/2023
There were some good segments but unfortunately too many missed braking points. Practice trying to be consistent. This is best done by driving a little slower than your maximum. Remember your braking points and try to repeat for 3 laps in a row, always trying to be within a second and a half of the lap before. Only when you achieve this try going a little faster. Repeat his process for many laps but don't forget to put back to the analysis to make sure you aren't making any big mistakes. Brake hard and fast, never rest your foot on the brake before committing to the braking point.Good luck and I'm sure with enough laps and the advice above you'll be passing this driving skill.
Extra - Plenty to work on here, you are braking much too early, stay off the brakes until you have hit your braking marker and then brake hard and fast. Do short sessions and check the telemetry until you start to feel that your braking points are improving - example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, on this day you'll be able to see your feedback from the instructors (it could be the next day aswell), your score for the assigned task and your progress.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
