Could you please drive more road tracks? It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment with you only driving ovals. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready. Good luck and have fun on track!!
We took a look at your session at Spa. Diving deeper into this section with segments 7 and 8. This whole section is downhill and off-camber, so it's very easy to overload the front tyres and understeer. Due to that, the best line through the hairpin is usually to aim towards and early apex and hug the inside of the corner. Try not to exit too wide too, because you'll need to quickly come back to the right-hand side for the left-hand corner on segment 8. On another track, you'd have more time to do that, but since this section is downhill, you need more time to prepare that off-camber left hander.
Remember that smooth steering inputs are essential here to make sure you avoid using too much steering angle, or being too aggressive and get some understeer right at the corner entry.
Good luck on future sessions!

Please drive more laps. It isn't possible to get a fair and true reflection of this assessment without at least 30-50 laps being completed. The instructors are ready to help you when you are ready. Good luck and have fun on track

You are too slow at getting back on full throttle, costing you time on the exit as a result as your exit speed is lower than optimal. Try applying the throttle quicker so you can accelerate faster out of the corner, giving you a higher exit speed and gaining you time overall. - Example

A little bit more work is needed here. Too often you are one gear off the reference lap, there is time left on the table when you are doing this. Try to remember the gearing choices of the reference lap and test where you are able to control the car better in this gear and you'll notice your segment deltas should be improving as well.
Extra -
You are often downshifting on corner exit rather than the entry, which is costing you time on the exit as the downshift on exit causes the engine braking to kick in and drop your speed down unnecessarily. Try get your gearing done approaching the corner, and when you are exiting the corner, you should be going back up the gears, not down the gears. This will gain you time overall as it will help stop the engine braking kicking in by an unnecessary downshift on corner exit. - Example

Very nice, be careful how much pressure you apply on fast sweeping corners, it is important not to lose too much speed by braking too heavily, generally you are OK at this but a couple of mistakes were visible. Next up is your first acceleration technique, good luck and keep knocking out those laps, the more the better! 💪
Extra -
You are braking a bit earlier, causing your speed to drop a fair bit more than optimal and costing you a lot of time as a result. Try braking a bit later so you can carry more speed through the chicane, gaining you time overall by maintaining a higher minimum speed. - Example

Fantastic racing line and you are hitting nearly all of your apex's. Great job using the whole width of the track. The smoother you can be with your racing line the more you can distribute grip to all four tyres. There are a few areas you can slowly tweak over time on your entry and exit lines but you are nailing the clipping points mid-corner. Keep it up!

In the final corner at Tsukuba, you are steering too late, causing you to run wide on the entry and miss the apex. Try turning in a bit earlier so you can hold onto a tighter line up to the apex, gaining you more time. - Example

Very nice, your braking points are sharp and spot on. Important! You have clearly got good reference markers. There are a few areas we can work on over the coming weeks with regards to brake pressure and trailbraking to improve lap time further. Take a look at the way the reference driver smoothly bleeds off the brakes when going into a corner. This is better for weight transfer and overall grip.

In Turn 1 at Summit Point Raceway, you are braking too lightly, which means you have to hold the brakes longer than necessary to slow the car down, which costs you time on the exit. Try applying a bit more pressure to slow the car down more efficiently, which will allow you to maintain a higher minimum speed through the corner and gain you time, as you aren't braking mid corner. - Example

Great to have you onboard and hope you are ready to do some training! The process is super simple. Every two weeks you'll have an assigned task which your instructor will set based on our training schedule. Each task will be an important driving technique that you'll need to master in order to progress to the next discipline.
Having assessed and written hundreds of training plans, Track Titan instructors have analysed our drivers achievements and pitfalls and the results show that a consistent application of the driving techniques is crucial to progressing as a good, fast and safe driver. Therefore, every two weeks you'll be tested for consistency and quality of the chosen technique. If the instructor feels that more time on track is required to progress then no problem, hone your skills, dig deep and you'll soon pass to the next discipline.
We have assigned you a turnover day, the instructors will then assess your driving and provide your score for the assigned task and your progress. This will be vary, but is normally available within one to three days.
Please follow the advice in the assigned task and practice this race technique as much as you can in the next fortnight. We require 30-50 laps in this period to give you a good assessment of your driving. Remember, referring back to the reference lap and in particular the telemetry data to see how you need to perform to perfect a skill will aid your progress and competence.
The Instructors will look through the sessions and laps you have completed over the last fourteen days. Priority will be given to hot lapping and time trial laps if available. We understand that with changing conditions (tyre wear, weather, fuel load etc.) the ability to perform consistently and with quality similar to the reference lap alters. This is taken into account with all our assessments. Needless to say, the more laps driven the better your training and practice will be and the better the understanding of your current abilities.
If you have a different motivational goal, please let us know and we'll change it from "Improve driving technique"
Enjoy the training, enjoy the journey.
Good luck and have fun on track 💪
Yours sincerely,
The Instructors
