1st key mistake:

An example can be seen through segment 5, through the chicane dropping down to third gear is a half second mistake. Check out the Speed tab of the chart and this helps highlight (with the focus zone) that third gear was too low.

If the car is feeling sluggish or is revving too high, this is a good indication that you are in too low a gear. If you feel this might be the case, start a new session and drive two laps, first in the suspected wrong gear and then one gear higher. Check out your live delta, it'll give you your answer.

2nd key mistake:
Not trail braking
Why it matters
In F1 trail braking is a tricky technique to learn. The power, speed and downforce negate the feeling of trail braking. However, the graphs show what is necessary to lower your lap times.
How much of a problem it is for you
11% of all of your mistakes are related to trail braking.
See an example in your own sessions
A good example can be found in segment 15. Generally you are good at trail braking but just a few times you forget.

Here is an interesting video explaining the trail braking technique. Study and try to implement it on the majority of your corners.

3rd key mistake:
Braking too early
Why it matters
A good mistake to make since it's so easy to fix! You simply need to find a slightly later braking point to maximise your lap time potential.

A bit more than 12% of your mistakes are related to this so it's worth paying a lot of attention to.
