We are happy to continue our corner guide series with in-depth yet concise videos of no longer than five minutes each.
Silverstone's Copse corner used to be the very first corner around the home of British motorsport until the track's latest major rebuild in 2011. It is still a challenging and popular corner; especially in cars with lower downforce levels than in Formula 1. Copse is still the first turn of Silverstone's National track configuration and as it leads into the ultra-fast Maggots-Becketts-Chapel combination, a good exit out of Copse at Silverstone is critical. In our guide, we look at Copse in a GT3 car in Assetto Corsa. Further, we compare a good and a bad example of how to tackle this corner and visualise our session's actual telemetry data to help you understand how and why common mistakes can be avoided.
